u can run by open dialling pad...then hit button ##634# basically it scan all your phone parameter to check for any malfunction...


so when i realized that my compass no longer working in all apps that require compass...i use that to check the compass status of my lumia900... turn out *"magnetometer" not applicable


*magnetometer = compass hardware


it was weird because back then when i just got my phone new unboxed compass feature was working.... (using it in "my prayer" app to look for qiblat)


i tought it was due to 7.8update...but my other lumia900 was still on 7.5 also have this problem

my HTC Titan cant do this mang...the dial pad will just dissapear after pressing those number..

after further googling...diff phone brand caary diff code...
