the tricky thing is this.
APC does stretch MORE than the usual brands like nudie and n&f . that being said, it wont stretch like 3 sizes or so. and the important factor is one's body type. if a guy is slim, and he sized it right such that the fit is not skin tight but still remain very slim, it wont stretch as much as another guy who has bigger thighs(and wearing same size as the slim fella) which will have more friction with the denim.
also have to consider what you do in the jeans ultimately. if its just regular activity, then obviously it wont stretch a lot.

mine only stretch around 0.5 give or take at the waist.

usually if you can button all right, it will be able to stretch after 2 weeks or more. but if its really too tight, then sell it off is better smile.gif

My waist size is similar to yours and I own a nudie and an APC respectively.
For my nudies, probably it's exactly same like yours. I bought slim jims at size 28 and yeah still bit loose.
For my APCs,its size 28,(I only sized down 2 for this) but mines Petit Standards.Petit Standards are more of the slimmer fits compared to the New Standard which is more of a straight cut?
I reckon,( I could be wrong) just wear it more for a couple more of weeks because it should still stretch more. Especially since you're able to button all of it with ease I think it should be fine.
I have a friend who had new cures and couldn't button all of it, but after about a week or so, he could button all of it.
So unless you are looking for a baggy or a straight fit, I suggest you wear it for a couple more weeks before selling it off.

ns is pretty slim too and provides very nice silhouette when worn. its a 21cm cut(referring to dior's cutting), and ps is 17.5cm and 19cm would be the nc.

but if one is not able to button up any buttons at the start... and finally manage to do so.. the question then would be is your friend confortable wearing the jeans? cause in my experience,if its that severe from start, its damn near impossible for your *precious* to have breathing space even when manage to button half or all the buttons eventually.
rmb that the rise is really low and we are only on nudie, n&f and apc. let alone japanese denim which are generally woven more tightly.

Choosing the correct size of apc is very tricky. My personal experience was I had to return twice before getting the right size for me.

I size down 3 for a pair of new cure home. The back pockets are so narrow I can only fit in a card holder rather than a full size wallet. Most of the time I just use money clip.

i size down 2 for my APC Petite Standard and it suits me. I prefer APC rather than Nudie because of the raw.

Haha yeah! The pockets' are so small! I have the same problem like you even though I sized down twice only. I bought a money clip solely for the purpose of this!

Do you mean to say that Nudie has no raw? Because there are plenty of raws for Nudie.
