Lol. You've mistaken me as the TS for this version as me being an otai. The regulars here are more knowledgeable. Still learning a lot. Just hope we can build a greater denim culture here in Malaysia.

QUOTE(Imsilly @ Oct 12 2013, 09:02 AM) Went down to SoHo today. Went to rag and bone and APC. Surprisingly rag and bone raw quality seems to be not bad at all. Seriously nice boots. Compliments well with your jeans. Was outside BIG but I dare not go in. Seriously damn scared I might splurged on a pair of sams :/ Anyway cross post from WAYWT: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « -club monacco bomber -apc ps (slightly more than 1 year but fades not too crazy. as you can see still quite a lot of indigo) wolverines 1000 mile (walked for over 5 hours today around nyc in these. Painful after the first 3 hours.Noticed alot of ppl keep looking at my boots when walking in town) Taken in Club Monaco store since I have no mirror in my apartment. Was pleasantly surprised when the store assistant at club Monaco complimented my boots until I realised club monaco stocks on wolverines too) QUOTE(attacusatlas @ Oct 12 2013, 10:22 AM) No, I am sure i m not. Anyone who has been participating and contributing in this thread since V1 deserved to be pronounced an otai. The more you know, the more you dont. Hence humility sets in. Knowledgeable is a very subjective matter - my professor that I worked with 15 years ago still think that he is like a baby in his field; there are a lot of new things for him to learn and explore though he has been in his field for the past 35 years. Some newly hired graduates in my organization think that they are smarter than their superiors. It is like the classic instance of 'padi & lalang'. |

QUOTE(chazychaz @ Oct 17 2013, 04:29 AM) Only if i have the time. But thanks for the suggestion.QUOTE(Imsilly @ Oct 17 2013, 06:04 AM) 230 euros for selvage? Lol might as well buy Oni denim or other jap denim makers which I believe is slightly cheaper and superb quality or just top up a little and get Dior/SLP. Yeah, true that. |

Even laughed that the brands are called 'Momotaro', 'Samurai' and 'Kamikaze' to name a few. Quite a funny response to that. |

QUOTE(Stinky Fart @ Dec 23 2013, 07:53 PM) They have a Facebook page, but it doesn't seem to get updated very often. Their last post was on September. Made a visit to the Evisu store at klcc. Its still under bread and butter, but more focused on evisu with true religion beside them.I have been to The Yard and tried on a couple of CFW jeans. I got word that their new designs were close to production so I put off buying back then. The Yard and Nusantara Denims are having their year end sale right now. Gotta find time to pay them a visit! Oh and I didn't know Evisu has a store in KLCC. Would be interesting to see what they're carrying. I've been to Bread & Butter and they were only carrying made in china Evisu jeans Their stocked with evisu's no. 3 which probably MIC. But they have only 2 No. 2s that are MIJ. The price? Rm2k |

QUOTE(boneyM @ Dec 24 2013, 11:08 AM) For the record, bread n butter just open their store at JPO. Not much items tough, and the price is not really what I expected from an outlet store. Didnt know that. Thanks for the info. How much are they selling at the outlets? Evisu's are ranged rm1.2k to rm2k at their retail. |

QUOTE(boneyM @ Dec 24 2013, 11:19 PM) Don't really remember how much does the evisu priced, and most of them is the no3. For nudies, they are priced between RM600-RM700, and that is for the prewash denim Yikes! Now i know what you say.Had the pleasure to visit some factory outlets in the US especially from Barneys New York. They were selling naked and famous' weird guy for usd99. Now that's a factory outlet price. |
