for windows xp go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data and delete Battle.net folder

for windows 7.... should be almost the same, maybe C:\Users\All Users\Application Data

then start your launcher again, it will recreate the bad files and patch will work. I did it and fixed the problem.

i said delete the whole folder lo.... you want to ask delete what inside sammore...
