I wan put da shinny star(da sigh like put at face or teeth make it more bright) on my pic but i dunno how to make that..

U can either use a star shaped brush or use the lense flare effect available in it. Tweak the lighting so that it fits your criteria.

well..firstly...u can draw half a star first...then duplicate it, then flip it horizontally...then combine the both to make an actual star. and maybe you can duplicate another whole star after you've finished creating it...add radial blur effect to it to have the shinning effect at the back..

let's see.. use shape tool to make the star or find an image of a star then take pen tool and trace. then later use a way brighter color and implement the Screen blend I suppose.
if you provide an example, we might have a better method to explain how that effect was achieved. |

Use the star tool in Illustrator, create a star>copy its path and paste in photoshop (unless you're good in using the pen tool you can create directly a star shape in photoshop)
Save the path and create selection (select a new layer (transparent-for easy selection) - Gaussian blur the selection and fill with your desired color. Touch up with the brush tool for some glaring effect. Attached thumbnail(s) |
