I rent a retail lot at shopping mall with tenancy 2yrs. Rental deposit 3mth + utilities deposit 0.5mth (about 3k).
After 3mth, suddenly my shop no power supply (got bill paid mthly). Checkx3 with mall maintenance guys, only know that my premises electric meter has been removed by TNB as owner has close a/c. Damn
Call owner, very LC wan, like not interest entertain just answer ALL his properties rented is without the electricity meter. Tenant have to apply themselves. But initially before sign TA, the agent never not stated that tenant have to apply own TNB. All the s**k only come back after 3mth?? Then utilities deposit is for what?? since there is no power/water supply? Read through TA not stated also.
What I need to do?
Understand different owner/landlord have different T&C. But at least inform/give notice earlier ma......
