Hey guys,

Anyone using swiftkey and smart cover app?
Good or bad idea to purchase these apps? Swiftkey is quite pricey at around $4++.

download the free version first, try it (takes a few hours to get used to it, but you'll fall in love with it haha)
*
Just wondering what's the limitations on the free version? Will it lock after a certain time period (cannot use anymore)? Than I have to un-install and download the full version is it? tongue.gif

I'm having both, SwiftKey is awesome! One thing is that it can't type Chinese. Smart Cover is also awesome, just that if your finger accidently block the sensor, the screen turn off instantly. But other than that, perfect biggrin.gif,
*
Hrmm, good thing I don't usually type in Chinese biggrin.gif Care to mention what the major advantage it has against the stock keyboard?

Smartcover will only work if you have a flip case right? So basically I flip the case close, the screen will go to sleep. Flip it open, it will wake up and I can unlock it right? What happens if I happen to be using it and get a call, I'll flip the cover close to answer the call, will the screen sleep and wake up once I end the call and open the cover? tongue.gif

One popular issue regarding WIFI on S3. The most common "Fix" right now is something that was learned from XDA developers:

1. Go to your phone dialer
2. Dial *#0011#
3. When you see the "ServiceMode" screen, press the left menu button
4. Select "WiFi"
5. See that "Wifi Power Save Mode" button that is "ON" - well turn it "OFF"
6. Exit this menu, turn off your Wifi and turn it back on. If you already entered all your wifi credentials, forget your network info (remove it) and re-enter it again."
*
Sorry to ask again, but what will turning OFF the Wifi Power Save Mode do?
If I have no issues with wifi connectivity should I change it? blink.gif

Hi guys. Anyone using SwiftKey here? Want to ask if there's anyway to turn off the vibrate function each time we press a key while typing?

Kinda good but I'm worried it will drain my battery.

go to setting, sound, haptic feedback  smile.gif

Hrmm... I went there but found that the setting for haptic feedback was already off (unchecked). Is the setting in SwiftKey itself?

Finally installed the SGP Flex on my phone. Can't say it was an easy task to do. Now my screen looks funny. Hoping it will clear up once the water dries.

But is the screen suppose to feel smooth? Mine feels a bit bumpy. Worried some dust might have got in.

Kies..you have to use PC. For OTA you have to wait until Samsung send the updates to your phone.
*
Hrmm, so kies updates faster than the phone update ehe? Any major changes in the new update? If nothing much probably will wait till it comes available on the phone biggrin.gif

I never use Kies as it very un-reliable. Try look at Samsung official website OR Google it for downloading  :-)
*
But if I don't use kies or update through the phone means the phone needs to be rooted right?
Else how to install the update? blink.gif
