QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jul 5 2012, 03:42 PM) Reporting back with my battery drain results. update interval to 16 hours.......you might as well remove the weather widget ![]() I had a battery drain problem that i thought i couldn't find a solution to the problem. Found the solution after a fellow forumer mentioned about it. Turns out, the battery sucker was Beautiful Widgets. I had a weather+clock widget open that had the update interval set to 1HOUR, i changed it to 16HOUR instead, and it really fixed the problem Usually when i idle my phone untouched for 12 hours (sleep + school), the battery will only have 85% remaining. But after fixing the problem, the results are significantly improved This is a VERY HUGE improvement for me free up your ram as well |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 7 2012, 01:40 AM) Back, now answer: you mean 99 % ?1. It is slightly smoother but still same not perfect. 2. I think touchwiz redraw issue is fixed, I never face yet, and I notice it more randomly close down the dialer if you open heavy apps, not redraw the launcher. 3. No idea, but from XDA forum, now it stay much longer in 100% after discharge, I can't test this as I don't have this issue previously. mine NEVER remains at 100% after i off the charger and i thought continuous input already available since the first firmware This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Jul 7 2012, 01:51 AM |

thanks ianthensome for pm-ing me the correct way to remove picasa albums from gallery
ts can consider adding this to front page QUOTE Open Settings, scroll down and tap Application Manager Tap All Select Google+ Tap Uninstall Updates Return to home screen by pressing middle button Find Google+ in apps menu and open it Follow setup steps, when prompted about Auto Uploads choose to turn them off Close Google+ Open Settings, scroll down and tap Accounts and Sync Select your Google account Untick these options if available: Sync Google+, Sync Google Photos, Sync Picasa Web Albums Tap Sync now at the bottom Tap Back arrow twice to return to main settings screen Open Application Manager Tap All Scroll down and tap Gallery Tap Clear Data Return to home screen by pressing middle button Open Gallery app, you should now find that the Picasa albums are gone! |
