Currently on wanam lite. It's quite impressive on battery life. Data on /music player on for 30 minutes, still haven't drop 1percent of battery. Gonna test more before further review.

re-root after flashing a custom rom .

recomending vanam lite rom.

i had been flashing from omega to checkrom to stock to vanamlite ,without doing wipe. No problem.

My review on vanamlite rom.
Edge and hsdpa for the whole day.
1-2hour of wifi.
3hour screen on time.
Moderately browsing.
Music for 3hour
Auto brightness
Power saving off.
Quite impressive for me.

Yea, flash the rom then flash siyah kernel if you like.

use checkrom la , our andrewtst sifu got share mod file in the kitchen to make the taskbar semi transparent and diff colour too.

what i meant was , i forget to flash custom kernel after i flashed vanamlite rom.

odin is a software for user to flash (install) a custom rom/kernel with a pc.
mobile odin is a software for user to flash (install) directly on the phone.
CWM is clock work mod , its also another tool to flash rom/kernel and so on.
do not rush while learning, google up more info before trying .

changing rom is like (changing window 7 basic to window7 professional <<a little exaggerated )

increase its performance .

rooting wont make any data lost in the process if no mistake is made. rooted phone can be unroot again by flashing back stock firmware. so warranty is not an issue.

You need to read on it more. If u put the tar file in phone, u need mobile Odin or Cwm. If you wanna use Odin on pc, u need to choose the tar file at the pda section on Odin. Then put phone to recovery mode and click start.
