S III is the best battery I use in all Android phone, at least it is far far better than S II.

Hi forumer and owner of s3, i've tempted by my friend who using s3, im wondering if it's a good choice of letting go my iphone and shift into s3? I just can't stand for the HD screen of s3. but some of them giving passive feedback of the battery life.

s3 battery really good compare to note also although capacity is lesser than note's... i ordered some 3rd party batteries branded pixen and one battery charger to standby too

yes, definitely.. my gf using s2, and she envy a lot of my battery life.

we went out with my battery 50%, hers 70%.. we use almost the same pattern i.e. whatsapp, taking photos.

we came back with my battery 45% and hers 30%.

and yet everyday i still see ppl complaining about how bad is the battery life of S3. just be thankful it is not as crappy as One X and it is replaceable. Those who claimed draining battery better check your apps and signal strength.

without mobile data and wifi on most of the time, i can use full day with almost 4~5 hours on screen time which includes 2 hours gaming
with data on and wifi on when at home, i can use until night with 3hours+ to 4 hours on screen time

me too. but i saw 3rd party battery about 4800mah with extension battery cover.
kinda ugly. but ill go for it if samsung produce it. haha

today i unplugged at 7am, meeting until 11am+. occasionally on my screen to check things awhile, data off, wifi on. 12pm i still have 96%.

my colleagues G Note, also same unplugged 6am, light use, no mobile data. 80+%

then go buy motorola Maxx la. zzz..

d more u use, sure more battery juice depleted

if u r constantly on wifi, check sms, whatsapp or fb, obviously u r not working....

ya..even though my note is using the custom rom, s3's battery still last longer than note.. my s3 is still using stock rom and root only..really quite impressive.. i remembered last time when i owned a one x.. battery also drained faster.. quite satisfied with s3...

Yup, sometimes I also no idea why people complain on such little drop on battery, this S3 screen so big and is quadcore, and it already can did much much better than 4.2 inch dual core S2.

The battery on S3 is really impressive, at least non in market can do that for such big screen and quadcore.

Also don't forget it can charge full extremely fast!

I got colleague husband use One X, and he complain can last long only 6 hours!

Ya, he is quite heavy user (on call and sms, email only), he not play games, not play the phone, but 6 hours is too short actually.

i saw this issue and a fix on XDA. Still confused...is it just the reading..or its actually consuming the battery? Because i heard people say S3 batt can last like at least one day with moderate use. but the 13hours i clock...about 5 hours is my bedtime haha! total 8 hours use. i usually need to charge just before finishing work...3g on.. brightness 20%.. also got tablet, usually cell standby not high. normally Screen>Android OS>cell standby..
