Hi all, currently I have a new S3 Marble White sealed in the box. Initially I wanted a PB but maxis said the waiting list for it is too long so I took the MW.

Question is, can I take the phone to any Samsung shop and replace the casing to PB with additional charges?

or replace my new MW with a new unit PB with additional charges?

(I know I can sell my MW to other people and buy back a new PB but that will take too much time)

Check your OTA software updates in about phone setting OR use Kies.

Kies..you have to use PC. For OTA you have to wait until Samsung send the updates to your phone.

Hrmm, so kies updates faster than the phone update ehe? Any major changes in the new update? If nothing much probably will wait till it comes available on the phone

I never use Kies as it very un-reliable. Try look at Samsung official website OR Google it for downloading :-)

No need to root if you just want to install/flash updates or firmwares. Just download the firmware from Sammobile then flash it via Odin.

Bloody hell, this SGP didn't do their research earlier, should come out with this SP earlier instead of ultra crystal or ultra nano, wasting my money purchased those abandoned products.

I'm using the nano version. Loves it. I amazing anti finger print technology. I never thought the clear sp like this can be anti fingerprints. Usually they come in mate. This new one covers the whole screen, print but it didn't mention about anti finger print. It just says easy to wipe of finger print. So far I'm happy with this one. I come in 3pcs. So I hv 2 to spare. I maybe selling it or keep it for future applications.
