the icon was very similar with bricopack & nuovext, but got many 'vista', longhorn, plex visualstyle, thumbup.gif

the installation quite troublesome for beginners, but ease me to customize icon & shell files,

However the desktop bar won't work, the glass fx for visual style applied to the whole windows box, not only the border like WB5 do:o

About the Disabling Windows File Protection

"You may disable WFP by setting the value SFCDisable (REG_DWORD) in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\ Winlogon. By default, SFCDisable is set to 0, which means WFP is active. Setting SFCDisable to 1 will disable WFP. Setting SFCDisable to 2 will disable WFP for the next system restart only (without a prompt to re-enable)."

Where to change the setting ? Where is the SFCDisable file?

^forgot to tell you something.
when you want to set the number, make sure that you choose decimel not hexadecimel.
if you still want to use hexadecimel, then set the number as ffffff9d

if that won't work.
this link might be useful for ya.

after you set it up, you won't need to save it. it's already saved.
hope that help.

since malaysia don't have any daylight savings issue, it supposed to be the same as windows time all year round.. furthermore, windows time will automatically adjust for daylight saving.. sweat.gif

the windows time is the correct one while the clock at the side bar is incorrect.

i've check my regional settings and everything is in order. I tried to look in the *.ini file but also cannot find any settings related.

heheh.. that screenshot pretty outdated though, much has been improved till the current 5365 build of vista recently.

user posted image

- the start menu has been changed and improved
- the sidebar has been removed coz even with the sidebar files, i find it buggy with xp
- the explorer toolbars changed to styler toolbar
- icons are newer

flaws:
- i couldn't settle with c: drive icon though, something that i did with iconpackager and hard to solve it back

u'll need:
------------
- vista customization pack v3.6 from (joejoe)
- windowblinds 5 enhanced
- styler 1.38 (skin included in vcp3.6)
- jemaho's vista windowblinds 5 skin
- vista icon pack v2 ultimate (from joejoe, now where it is..)
- lclock
- topdesk (optional if you want the rolling alt-tab feature)

some that i forgot include tweaks from forums somewhere (as u can see the system control panel has changed)

tracked sites:

i disabled the 'animate windows when minimizing and maximizing' in system performance settings, so clicking the tab on taskbar, makes it pops-up and pops-out of the screen, no animation on maximizing n minimizing, the result, faster. n i use some tweak with my nvidia graphics driver a checkbox named 'make windows minimiza and maximize faster'.

Thank. Now i can install since i am using 512mb ram.
And below the nvidia section where minimize and maximize faster, there is transparents where i can check those box.But i don't see any transparent tool bar like the glass such as vista ?
Is there any software for translucent title bar just like window blind 5 without using window blind ?

i don't like the glass2k, it makes everything transparent, not exact as vista reacts. uninstall it, see if u got ur smooth again.

try using the shortcut keys to adjust the transparency.... right click on glass2k->settings-> u'll c a selection box for shortcut keys, choose ur preferred shortcut key and then adjust the transparency by holding the shortcut keys u selected and numbers (1->total transparent, 9-> no transparent)... but i still get flickers when watching videos in windows mode....haiz...imitdation can never replace original...

My friend has tested the vista version but it turned out that the when we right-click the mouse a small toolbar appear to adjust the visibility of the window......

The transparent program suck however it only look nice with windows media player 11 beta version...
