I think you still can get the remote from those tamiya rc shops. The channels or frequency can be adjusted if I am not mistaken. Best check out with those RC thread here. They can provide more insight...
Should be RM1913.50 if followed the tanks and fighter planes pricing. First issue is RM 9.90 and second issue should be RM19.90.
RM1.9k
Local prices for nitro cars also not so gila mahal.. Tempted, but if miss one issue sure

Can get cheap and cheerful FlySky 2.4GHz system. TX is RM60, comes with one RX.
Plug , bind, play.
If got bajet, can get the FS-GT3B or FS-GT3C TX.. Save up to 10 model memory

Now I am undecided whether should I continue with Hummer or not since the total is kinda expensive. With that amount I am better of collecting tanks and the money could also used for other RC, say, 1/16 Heng Long King Tiger/Panther G since I am just not that very knowledgable on the topic of RC

At least not into fuel RC :/
I'm just worried about sourcing the spare parts in later years. For Tamiya RC, can still visit the shop.
some of the reasons I don't think I can commit into this one: - price - spare parts - my lack of knowledge in RC - interest. I thought this was the military ver

What I know is that if you subscribed to the magazine, Allscript will continue to bring in all the issues for the subscribers even if the retail publication is suspended or cancelled.
Got this email from Allscripts after sending order via online.

Dear Mohd Hafiz,
Thank you for your enquiry to partwork, Build & Drive Your Hummer H1.
Kindly be advised that the distribution of this partwork is currently on test marketing. Distribution to the news trade will be suspended after issue 4. Pending market review, the publisher will decide whether to proceed with the national launch which will then be supported by TV media campaign. We will hold your enquiry and will keep you posted on the development. Please email or call hotline 603 80233260 for more information.
Following the result of the test marketing report, I regret to inform that the publisher had decided not to launch Build & Drive Your Hummer H1 in Malaysia.
I look forward to hearing from you. Meanwhile, thank you for your patience, support and understanding. Kind Regards, Ambika
The decision seems final. Maybe because it is nearing the end of the world.

Hi everyone,
Looks like this is back on. Check out the Allscript website and you can see that it is open for subscription. However, it is now considered to be part of the Model Works partwork so no more selling at bookstores (will have to subscribe to build). Also, no more magazine as all instructions will be in PDF format for download. Anybody interested, check it out.
I checked the website and saw that part work too. I placed an order for another model - Red Bull Racing RB7 but it seems like my status is pending offline. Doesnt know what it means. Anybody encounter this before?
You need to write to Ambika from Allscript. Their website is quite bad. You sign up but they don't register you for the partworks. You have to write to Ambika.
hi guys planning to sub this hummer by end of this month, wish me luck, anyone? so that we can build together...

Lewi, I went to the ordering website. Hummer H1 Do you know the number in "starting issue" is refering to pack or issue? For example: 1 of 17 for pack. Or 1 of 68 for issue.
I bought 4 issues last time when they sell it in book store.

Reply to my own post. It's 1 of 17 for pack. I jumped on to the bandwagon. Construction start when all parts are in place.
