Went backpacking with gf at Singapore last week. tongue.gif
With me is just a Sony NEX-F3, 16mm f/2.8 lens + wide angle adapter. (18mm @ 35mm format)

Here's a selection of some of my favourite shots.
Feel free to comment and critique so that I can improve. nod.gif

Thanks for checking out! laugh.gif

very nice! do you have any low light or indoor shots with the 16mm (excluding the wide angle adapter)? no extra filters added and these photos are out of camera JPGs or processed RAWs?
*
Thanks! tongue.gif

Hmm no but I can tell you that the at f/2.8, the 16mm is only usable when your subject is near centre, corners are soft.
All the shots above are without filters (the wide adapter doesn't allow conventional filters), shot in JPEG and adjusted in LR. smile.gif

dunno y, i see liao like wanna faint/dizzy

Cz of the nature of distorted look of a UWA? hmm.gif
Anyway I have the tendency to tilt my shots when using UWA, maybe that's why. laugh.gif

Generally, I don't think it's a good idea to slant your photo for landscape or cityscape. It creates severe headache!!
*
Yeah but I can't seem to be able to find decent composition without tilting. hmm.gif
But will try next time. smile.gif

hey bro, what time u shot those photos in sg? did u bring a tripod along?
i visit there 9pm+ last time.. sadly i did not manage to bring tripod along.. and my pic not really satisfied ... i'm with 5n + 16mm
*
Time varies from daylight to pure darkness.
No tripod used in any of the shots anyway. Just use the correct settings and you're good to go. icon_rolleyes.gif

i wanted to comment the same thing... mabuk doh.gif
somehow i think not all shots need to take at such an angle unless we want to artificially create some leading lines or something...
*
ahahahh tongue.gif
I'm just too addicted to leading line type composition. laugh.gif

Paiseh for making you guys mabuk. doh.gif

photogs see the world thru viewfinder in horizon way, no matter how they turn the camera  laugh.gif

for my opinion, is about balancing,  like #7, there is something to balance up the picture, it still ok. some pic look like the world is mabuk.... laugh.gif
