Hi Guys,

My dad is thinking of a car with a budget up to around 80-85k. Would like to seek suggestions and advice on which car u guys wish to recommend?

Forte -> Obviously its pack with all the features and value for money, However, my dad still doubts about the resale value which I tried checking on Mudah.my...A 1.6 Forte (Year 2010) is selling at the price around 61-65k...Tried hard to convince him but still he is still in doubt of the resale value lol

Preve -> Alread have one at home currently

Inspira ?

Or any others that could recommend?

Thanks smile.gif

Inspira looks to be a good choice, though the Fiesta Sedan is a safer car.

Best value for money currently Inspira 2.0E and Forte but if you don't mind a smaller car, Ford Fiesta is also an option.

Depends on what cars you already have at home and how you plan to use this next purchase. Hybrids like Jazz, Insight, PriusC are real viable options; great fuel economy puttering around KL. If you're considering one, I would wait till at least early next year; expecting good prices from Honda after it's new plant is operational.

Ts, as u can see, tons of forte on the road, do u think the reseller value is low? Ask back ur dad. U have checked mudah, the second hand value still pretty strong.

If u scare reseller value, then go for local brand. As u mentioned, "inspira".

Really thanks for all the advice guys, Will still try to convince him on the Forte. Of cpz, if I'm the one making the decision, By all means I would go for Forte tongue.gif

Would ask him to consider Hybrid Cars as well although the price is a bit higher than the budget. Fiesta could be also the choice if he doesn't mind it to be smaller. If not , I guess either getting another Preve or Inspira would be the choice then depending on him....Doubt he would go for the Vios because he doesn't like it at all too...He actually said he would rather go for the preve than the vios.

Doubt so. Honda must have at least received some assurances before plonking down their money on the new plant expansion.
