just got a call from maxis this afternoon .
they said installation will be on july 9 , duno if i heard wrongly or not.

mine 9.30 a.m . i think i will call them 2moro to confirm .

Alright heres the report .

Installation scheduled at 9.30 a.m .
Maxis guy arrived at 9.20 a.m . So we surveyed the area and where to do the cables . TM ppl came at 10.15p.m .

Installations are done till around 11.45p.m. Then they called maxis coz we cant connect to the internet.
Waited till 12.45p.m , everything is up and running.

My first connection using wifi was at 5mbps , thought that the signal played a part in getting that speed . The wifi signal I am getting from 1st floor is only 2/6 bars.
But then when I restart the wifi , speedtest local server indicated 10mbps up/dl .Ping at 15ms.

I tried direct downloading at 1pm, speed fluctuates from 2xx kb/s to 1.2 MB/s.
Now downloading another file , speed constant ranging 1.1x to 1.3x MB/s

So everything so far so good. Havent try p2p yet .

add a 6 at the front ?

i typed in 603xxxxxxx for the mylaunchpad first time user authentication but still faileddddd zzzz
and my torrent is just so slow .

hey guys,
my router has been acting weirdly, wonder others are experiencing the same problem.

I am at this page http://192.168.1.254, wireless access point .
My connection at times can be 5 Mbps or up to 52 Mbps .
So now my dl speed is fluctuating up down , and it even slows my browsing speed ,as if the whole connection has went down to 512kbps.

Is it the problem that one connect few devices with the wifi ?

man i dun understand why i get the signal from my thomson router is soooooo low , somewhere 30-50% .

while my neighbour , after just installed maxis fibre , i can get 90% signal from their router ... aihhhh

maxis tech guy ask me to swtich wifi channels . Done so many times but still its consistent with the above . zz

aih i think bcoz of wifi, my speed is really goin up and down , sadddddd .
cant really get 10mbps constant .

man these days theres DC , very slow speed etc .
need to manually restart the equipments a few times .
currently the speed is also slow .

man so many problems , hope its just the maintenance.

from night till now my torrent is like capped at 300 , very slow speed .
i cant stream 1080p on utube .. SADD

stream olympic live at 360p also needs buffering , going to restart d thomson again ... zzz

i just had like near 2mins of " blackout " , suddenly drop in speed .
now seems better but cant reach the max speed . torrent hovering around 700-900
