what is the diffrence between the rm118 and rm138? how come the price went up?

thinking of subscribing 10mbps soon.
but i'll like to know the disadvantages of maxis fiber over unifi. also, i heard alot of complaints about the thomson router. has the problem been solved already? thanks.
