which some people dun want because the paid maxis already they demand maxis to give the a good router and it's stupid to purchase you own router because you already paid so much to maxis.
and at the same time need to open 3 device at once in order to get voip (BTU,custom router,thomson router and in future iptv)
i give up my voip that's not important for me... i'm just a freak that prefer to be alone....

sorry to tell you i am noob in this kind of things
the only one that works for me is openwrt and gargoyle which is also openwrt with a more functional interface

the reading should be below 20dBM, anything above 25dBM is bad and shouldn't get installed in the first place.

Hi all, the Maxis CS called yesterday to confirm the installation date which on this coming Saturday. Same case as above, they said they will come to install first without Modem..... the modem will provide to me only at the end of the month.... Can i know if i prefer using my own modem(With Wi Fi), which brand and model is compatible with Maxis Home Fiber??? Thanks.......
