Alright, i have this paper. I wanna post out a camera weighing 1.6kgs from KL to Sabah. How much would that be?
Does PosLaju supply boxes? I'm planning to get a box from PosLaju and post it out
And i have this price list paper. They say "CHARGES FOR DOCUMENT" RM17.00 for 1600gm whereas there's a another section which says CHARGES FOR PARCEL which will cost me RM41.40
Since i'll be using a box under poslaju, which one will they charge me? RM17 or RM41.40 ?
btw, the CHARGES FOR PARCEL is stated in a POSLAJU paper shocking.gif

1. Poslaju rates are available online at www.pos.com.my

2. Yes, Poslaju supply boxes.

3. Yours is obviously a parcel. (Forget no. 1 above as you have the rates in that piece of paper.)

Website says RM17 but thing is it doesnt make sense for me to state a box as a 'document'. Lol. Thats why, pretty confused which is which. RM41.40 is insanely expensive icon_question.gif

kotak nanti beli dari poslaju, skarang confused whether isit under document or parcel rclxub.gif
Cause if document =RM17.00
Parcel = RM41.40
But the object berat is 1.6kgs
Parcel first 2.0001kgs is RM41.10

Well, based on the weight you provided and that piece of paper, you found it is RM41.40. Then that is right.

Unless you can make the camera weigh less somehow. laugh.gif

By the way, see http://www.pos.com.my/pos/services/fast_ma...ce/prepaid.aspx

According to this, those boxes are meant for usage within Peninsular Malaysia. You also need to pay for those boxes.

Wow. RM13 for the 2kg box. doh.gif

You are better off looking for a box at your neighbourhood kedai runcit. Need to pack it properly though. Bubble wrap, padding, etc.

---------------------

PS

Made a mistake. RM13 covers the shipping. Well, that is for within Peninsular Malaysia.

KL - Sabah = there is no box provided by poslaju. U have to ownself find a box n wrap it up. Box is calculate by volumetric cos it is considered as a parcel.

U can try ask SKYNET for quoting maybe cheaper than poslaju.
