I have booked a Toyota Camry 2.5 before the launching and found that it isn't impressing me. The look, safety, performance, features are not you should get for Rm180k. I requested for cancellation but it failed as I am the first twenty in the booking list. I could have get the car by now, but I refused.

However, the salesman gave me a choice of re-choosing the colour and add-ons. I plan to add aerokit to make the car look less updated in future time. My colour chosen during booking was white. I do not have any idea on what colour does the car look the best. I have only seen black Camry in my area (Not many Camry by now, people are clever blush.gif). Plus, I found that all the Camry being displayed are Black, and the most of the Camry pictures in Toyota Website are black (The brochure has the best example).

I wonder in your opinion what colour looks the best? And should I install the aerokit?

for RM180k, you get better bang for buck with a passat. Toyota are overpriced japanese shyt here.

The aerokits just make the camry look more ah beng and ricer. Your loan already released to the company? if not, i think you can still cancel it and get a penalty fee

Hm. Why did you buy it without knowing what it will be like?

I think white is ok. Still doesn't change that it has 2 airbags and no VSC... it gets beaten by a Preve!

Maybe you could try to sue them for not having VSC when the previous car had it, thus leading you to expect that the follow up will also have this very essential and important safety feature.

Also why can they deny you getting out of the booking, just because you were first to book?

White or black also difficult to maintain, so its down to your own preference. Different ppl different taste.

Personally i would choose black, hide those sharp ugly lines on the bumper hmm.gif

Surprisingly, in my area there are many Ibans. They like to mod car like f***. Car modded in hot list are Kancil, Wira, Saga, Kelisa, Kenari. Those are are cheap and spent tonnes of money in modding a car. Some even make a sticker: "Modding car is not wrong" and stick at the back. Epic laugh.gif

Yea, that is. I considered Kia K5 before, but due to parts accessibility, I ended up getting a Camry. Most of the foreign car here is Toyota. Can hardly meet a Conti car.

That is bullsh*t. Did you pay the 10% deposit yet?

They did not register your car yet, if they have registered the car, you can't change the colour since the VIN number will be registered to your name already. If they want to change the colour after registration, they need to repaint the car, which will cost them alot of money.

They just allocated the car to you and they have processed the loan application. Check with the bank whether any payment has been made to UMW. If nothing yet then you still have a chance, contact the bank directly to cancel, maybe need to pay penalty but if you are planning to buy another car, you can tell the bank that you still want the loan but for another model.

As long ad u haven't taken the car, sign the DO, u have the right to cancel, but money need time return to u, in this case ur sales man say cannot because he will have no sales, u cancel, next customer cancel, so to secure this he said no.

hmm... go for white or black. White: stunning on new car. Black: hides the overly long rear overhang well, nice contrast with the chrome finishings.
Don't go for silver! It looks ugly especially on a 2.0E/G because their rim size is smaller and doesn't contrast with the chromes.

Ask them to change to Prius. Still same company, but a much better car. Very safe (meant for US and EU), with 7 airbags and VSC. Good fuel consumption too, and great image. Very popular in Hollywood, all those stars drive one. People will think you are green.

If u dont like the car, how the heck are u gonna drive it? Just cancel it. UMW will claim this n that but u can always cancel. Dont give in. Camry is just not worth the price.

Anybody who is driving the car will claim its the best on the road la. What u thinking man? Always talk with facts not sentiments. If ppl who buy Alza will say its a good car. Have you ever heard of anybody who takes delivery of a brand new car and then says its crap?
