 And haven't traded in IPOs for a while, ever since Pavilion REIT, to be honest... Too bad I missed out on Gas Malaysia as well as FGV, both of which flew into the sky for those who invested! |

OCK places out 25.9m shares to LTAT, to issue RM150m sukuk
OCK Group Bhd, a telecommunication network services firm, announced it has entered into a subscription agreement with Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) for the placement of 25.9 million shares, representing 10% of OCK’s issued and paid up capital. In a press statement, it also said it has received approval from the authorities for the issuance of a RM150 million Sukuk. “The placement shares have been fixed at an issue price of RM0.47 per share, which represents a discount of approximately 9.75% to the five-day weighted average market price of OCK shares,” said the statement. “With the proceeds of RM12.173 million, the group intends to utilise the funds for the group’s regional expansion plans and working capital,” it added. OCK said its unit OCK Yangon Pte Ltd in Myanmar has been issued with a “Final Business License” from the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development of Myanmar. “With LTAT investing in the group, we foresee that there will be many business opportunities going forward with the government agency, in particular Ministry of Defense for their M&E works. OCK Group launches RM150m Sukuk programme
OCK Group Bhd has launched a RM150mil Sukuk programme with a tenure of up to 20 years. Its managing director Sam Ooi said on Monday the proceeds from the Sukuk programme would be utilised for its telecommunication network services segment. OCK also plans to build and acquire more telecommunication towers, which it will later lease to telecommunication operators. "The number of towers we will acquire or build will depend on the demand from operators," he said at a press conference after the launch. According to Ooi, a three-legged tower costs between RM250,000 and RM 300,000 while the cost to build a rooftop site is RM60,000. He said the demand for rooftop sites is 70% compared to 30% towers. He said the company was in talks with interested parties to subscribe to its Sukuk programme but "nothing has been firmed up yet". |
