Need to find some more info ... why it is not shariah? Whether the company does not apply for it yet? or something else ...
At a first glance, it seems nothing wrong with the core business. They are doing something related to telco. It's only my opinion. And of course, I am not a shariah scholar.
I also got some this IPO and already sold all this morning. The profit?? not decided yet what to do with it.... but at the moment, I tend to dispose it.

Can meh?... Give to baitulmal?. U hv to explain to them from where u get the money if not u get dosa also.... Hiding the fact. Why dont give to orphan or old people or ur friend who really need help or to the poor (just make sure they are not muslim)... Maybe u can consider this option...

I have done that and I told them (Baitul Mal) the source of the money (if I was not mistaken, it was from a unit amanah fund and interest earned from conventional bank accounts).

Of course there are "khilaf" on how to dispose such kind of income. You may want to refer to www.zaharuddin.net
The intention here is not to make a donation or "sedekah" but to dispose.

If like that, i think thats the best way..... Maybe next time we should allert about this, keep reminding one to each other...

Ya lorrr. One more thing ..... should also consider zakat on shares because it could be complicated.

Thanks for sharing... That one every muslim should know about zakat.. What ever income like shares, sales, salary, business....we should pay 2.5% for zakat... In this case (shares) u just calculate from ur nett profit.... but if the income coming from something related to plantation, paddy field, u hv to deduct 5% of nett profit...

Lol! Haram lah if gave to you! This counter is not syariah counter. Mean Muslim shouldn't trade this counter. If accidentally do so, the profit must go to charity or needy.
