A RM60 pump (RON95) runs for only 180km. I think this is very high for a 1.6 Waja CPS. It consumes even more fuel than a 2.0 litre car i.e. Inspira.

Great if Waja CPS owners can share your experience pertaining to fuel consumption.

Proton Inspira is not a Proton car. It is Mitsubishi, Proton just rebadge it and sell it like national car, buy Inspira if you have enough budget instead of other Proton model.

you need to consider how you drive it..if you drive like need for speed most wanted, off course it will consume fuel, but if you drive like auntie going to wet market, then it will save fuel.

I never drive higher than 90km/h and never went above 3,000 RPM. The CPS mechanism has never kicked in. I'm a light footer.

50% highway, 50% town drive.

Even if 100% town drive, can't possibly be just 180km with RM60 pump.

I travel about 30km a day on average.

In summary, your Wira's fuel consumption is f*cked up and so is mine. That's the story.

I drive like auntie going to wet market, seriously.

So at RM60 for 180km, I'm an extremely tulan auntie.

Lol..yes..because 4km daily..the car isn't meant to deal with such short distance..the moment I started working about 20km away..the FC improved..200+km on a full tank..to 550km+ on a full tank.. (average speed of 80-90kmh)

But looking at your situation 50-50..then I'd have to agree with the others..you may want to get your engine checked =)

Are you sure? Unless you drive 100% highway. Then you can achieve this. Otherwise, hybrid car can close shop.

i think you must have switched off the air-cond and ..... are yours normal campro or campro cps?

Added on November 16, 2012, 9:35 pmTS should change the oil to fully syn - i used Royal Purple + Japan Micro Filter = RM50 can get 300km town driving with air-cond ON - 3 years old waja cps auto clocked at 58k km and yet to change the spark plug set (need to change now i guess)
Also you need to check the tyre if there is any paku - few months ago i realised my FC is almost same like yours - i checked my tyres every week - in the end got time send to tyre shop and they found 5 pakus in each rear tyre! After that it's all back to normal fc smile.gif
