I just placed a booking for Hyper Silver 1.6HS a few weeks back.

I thought the strike is already over - a month ago !!!

Is the reverse camera (for 1.8) good?

I have  a problem with the resale value. Why Hyundai always have bad resale value? Are our second hand dealers - fickle??? They always give better value for Toyota and Honda (I see nothing special about Toyota - it looks cheap, especially its interior furnishings).

I test drove the Hyundai 1.8, and the drive was excellent. So again, why do our second hand dealers look down on hyundai?

All my friends who drive Sonata, Matrix, Sephia - all complain that by the time, they own it for 4 years, they sell it, they sell it at a loss, and have to pay for the outstanding loan. This does not happen in the case of Honda City and Vios.

Thks to the brainless fanboys who keep supporting T&H la. At least H bucking up now. Look at Camry. 160K for four gears. Even 180k also no stability control. Yet ppl still flock buy it. Got willing ppl been conned, then got willing seller keep jacking price and remove features. Then got willing 2nd hand buyer keep buying from those who regretted and wanna sell. Ultimately got 2nd hand dealer who keep offering higher 2nd hand value 'coz so many water fish in market.

any bros or sis out there, their steering leather started to peel off?
zzz my leather peeling off.. dulan... very thin slowly peeling off day by day after contacting.. I did use leather cleaner n protectant all the while before this happens, but still peeling off T_T , its not leather.. more like a pvc coating on top of it.

I am just finished form 5 and my parents is gonna buy me a car below RM100k....   now choices has been narrowed down to Honda City S class which is about RM91k but I really liked the HE standard spec xD but my dad shows no interest as he said most korean brands shows problems like underpower,noisy environment,bad handling & bad quality....most of all he is the kind that cares RESALE VALUE the most Don't know whether to conveince him to let HE a try or just go with him

how much will be the average maintenance fee per month? below RM 100/month? (<1200 per year)

woot finally collected my car today! Only thing missing are the Hyundai emblems as currently no stock. Also noticed a very tiny paint chip at the front bumper. SA promised to kau tim both and made a note in the collection sheet.

Tested so far so good. No cow crying sound when starting engine. My HU seems to be ok in terms of responsiveness. I'm comparing it against the HU in the M3. about the same in terms of laggyness.

So far been driving with the ECO indicator showing all the time.. hopefully i can get some pretty good FC on this car.

that shiny black layer is not suitable for our weather. they will replace another without the shiny layer.

Compare to my wife Vois (gen2), our elantra trottle response is really sluggish from stand still, you don't feel the "surge", change to manual will help a bit. But once you on higher speed, it's OK. Just my 2 cents
Any 1.6 owner install the potent booster/ ECT here? How is the trottle response? will it be significantly improve?  I would like to get some feedback before I install one. Thanks!!

Anyway, he didnt give me any special offer. But I did ask him do a few things for me :-

1) fill up full tank
2) sterling lock
3) Umbrella
4) change inokom logo to Hyundai logo
5) flat plat number ( no emboss version) for easy wash later

another thing was I should have ask him get me a smart tag too. But I forgot.

i think adding 6k into the instalment shall not be that significant. 

however, it still depends on your comfort zone financially. 

if financially allowed, why not?

it's always easy to modify our cars with sound system, exterior or interior makeover, but it's always hardly possible to install safety features into a car which doesn't come with ABS, ESP, VSM, EBD etc.

hope that you'll find this useful.

besides, don't you think that it's kinda weird for such a beautiful premium car comes without at least a VSM safety feature?
