i get quoted from a 'well known' lyn saler for Morel Maximo 6.5' for rm 700...

i think i might just go with the component and now im dilemma of getting which amp...
i got tight budget (<500) and i get quoted for a 3 years old PPI 4200am - 4channel (rm400)....sony XM-GTX6041 new (rm4xx) and pioneer (rm 4xx forgt bout the model)....

Which amp is better in the 1st place..or can i get better offer than the amps i mentioned above?
im thinking getting the ppi since is good reviewed but yet it is used unit(lifetime might goes shorter than the other 2)...

Pairing maximo with ppi ?? or PPI with other speakers?

tat ppi is NOT just 3-4 years old la... they should be at least 10 years old.. the AM series is one of the very old ppi model.

no doubt the PPi ol skool amp sounds good. but dat was based on when its new or used 2-3yrs old. like anything in the world, there's a life span even electronics. so most probably a 10yr old PPI vs a brand new or 2-3yrs old would NOT sound the same anymore.

driving a new audi A4 B5 feels great..juz pump n drive n enjoy
driving a 10-12yrs old Audi A4 B5...occcasionally in the workshop + feeling of new car NOT present
* 2 totally different driving impression!! based on similar car

but there is a new range of PPI AM series on the market 2-3 years already... revived...

so dunno is that model or the old ones... picture would confirm it...

u will need a sub for sure if ur using maximo....trust me on this i have it in my store room

u want bass use type R (assuming we are within the budget u stated) ....but u lose out in clarity u will need a good amp nevertheless...

yeah thats a pretty old amp....

Demo unit alpine mrp f300. Last year model v-power. Still got waranty from wkh. Rm650. Also have alpine comp set type r (new) ORI set. Rm 1400 for both item.
