wow,g400,very nice and sharp pics u got there...and more important,very nice scenery there,must be enjoy liaw.....
 ...but one thing,i still feel there is room for compositon improvement,but not all la,some pics are really nice,really hope i'm there too....  |

 ... more SHARP and it would be deadly!! NICE COLORS as well... the compo r basically ok, coz u sure use lots of variety to keep viewers interested - like me!! hahhahaha... no need artistic talent, per se lah.. eye for compo will come with much practise... it will. 2nd batch of photos a lot better man!!! Very nice and sharp!!! Good mix too. I think it's a great feeling to be in the Forbidden City... instead of just watching it on TV. Will we see photos of the Great Wall soon???

like ur pic1 especially the f/g got some trees shadow casted on the ground. not bad, not bad. overall the pic r very sharp~ cheers.
[WTA] for the cold weather like this does ur cam batt will dry-out more quckly it'z? how do u "protect" ur batt? it'z after u snap a pic quickly put it back to ur cam beg? |

tq...glad you like it. yes, the battery life drop to about half its normal life span per charge, normally i can shot for about 400-450shots per charges, but with the low temp, can only shoot about 250-300shots. nope didn;t protect, cos i got 3 batt. so normally can last me for a day's outing...

g400,i found ur pics are all nice and sharp
....but frankly and sorry to say,i really feel they just lack of some "UMMMM",feel like something is missing.Also,maybe u re busy on ur works and not enuf time to PS some of ur pics,especially the 1st few pics,i found they could be better if can "Level & Curve" a bit in PS....just my personal preference ya  |

IT's SAD u know.. CHina is a GREAT PLACE for PHTOGRAPHY loversa like us..
i was there 2004 december.. didn't took many pictures!!!!!!!! really great place...got SNOW somemore that time.... from the BACK mountain of Forbidden city, u can see the whole forbidden city covered in SNOW, DAMN PRETYT!! |

Safely say ... 90% are good shots and well taken!! Love the composition, angle and composition. These are the part that separates the shooter and the camera, can throw whatever the so-called 'hardware critics' wanna say.
Nice shots from the Konica Maxxum 5D and the 10-22mm performed really well! I think I should consider a EF-S 10-22mm into my wide angle lens purchase next time |
