Iirc the calculator doesn't take into account discounts, it's just that i don't really buy those "low-value" indie games (cept for maybe Defense Grid and Audiosurf) and more of those mainstream titles. I reckon i only spent like 40-45% of what the amount stated in the calculator.

I'd take Steam over that rubbish called Origin anyday, although i still prefer not to be tied to any sort of DRM.

It works with everything, thinking of pre-ordering CoH2, but i'll see what steam has to offer first.
