Is METRO 2033 really worth it? I heard its only 8-10 hours of gameplay...
*
It is fun while it lasted. Metro 2033 is a really good game.

You might replay for the alternate endings.

Just need some opinion, is Assassin Creed series worth playing?

Played the first game and it sucked badly for me, so i am thinking of trying the second one.

many ppl say AC2 is much better, and brotherhood tops AC2

so if cheap i think worth a try
*
It is 5USD now, i guess worth a shot again at the franchise.

QUOTE(shakku @ Jul 17 2012, 12:50 PM)
Assassin's creed 1 is known for boring and repetitive missions. AC2 above is better.
*
Yea, i know that too. A lot of people are telling me the same thing.

Strange, Brotherhood is cheap in Australia but AC2 and ACR is cheap in Malaysia. It is actually quite cheap to get them all in one shot, than buying the pack.

QUOTE(TiF @ Jul 17 2012, 01:06 PM)
the store page stated this requirement:
Hard Drive:12 GB HD space

but now i am downloading, only 2770MB ><
*
Okay, that just doesnt make sense.

Now, i dunno should i get AoE3 or get ACs.

*
Alright, but i barely know what happened in AC1.

if i grab GOTY + GODS and kings + Korea and Wonders of the Ancient World ....do i need the civ5 original game in steam ? does this 4 combo the best for civ 5?
*
Civ 5 GOTY comes with the vanilla game.

I think Civ 5 GOTY, Gods and Kings and Korea and Wonders of the Ancient World would work.

Cheese, isnt the AC series overpriced on Aus store?
Ohwait, forgot you got MSIA Steam Wallet trick.
*
Yea, i am doing that Steam Wallet "trick".

AC:B is actually cheaper in Aus, though. Strangely.

QUOTE(Boldnut @ Jul 17 2012, 02:02 PM)
Careful with AC2 and Brotherhood DRM thing.

Last time AC2 is always online sh*t, player complained, they patch it into require to login Uplay everytime u launch the game but can play offline after that. Now dont know what status, need people with AC2 to confirm.

Brotherhood on the other hand I dont know much about their DRM.

Personally I still cannot accept the required me to login Uplay to play the game each time.

if I can play AC2/brotherhood right from steam client offline mode. I will probably buy it.
*
I am playing From Dust now, and i dont really have much problems with UPlay, compared to Origin. It looks more like a launcher than anything else.

I had Driver Sans Fransisco which works offline too. Probably get AC2 for the Ezio's story arch.

Why?

I am just trying to make Lord Gaben happy for not buying games for the past 2 days.

Seriously, if i keep buying games, i think i will never finish them. God damnit. I demand 48 hours a day.

Still the big question here. Assume u already bought just now....

Do I have to go online everytime to login and go offline or just it is a 1 time activation then I can ditch Uplay for good? I very much prefer having 1 client installed than having too many running on background.
*
Firstly, UPlay isnt Origin, it is just a launcher that other games like Binary Domain and Deus Ex Human Revolution uses. Just slightly more pretty and a bit more intrusive. Probably all it checks is just whether you are online or not when you are starting the game.

No, i havent bought it, i still got 24 hours to think, so no point buying the game now.

EDIT: From Dust works on Offline mode. The launches with Uplay saying that you are playing offline. Seems ok.

A 360 pad is pretty much a must for PC games these days. Some games, like racing games or platformers need a 360 pad.
