If you're those buy-and-use (steal from the term point-and-shoot) person, you'd better go for iOS. Nothing too complicated here for you to use your brain to think. It does all the job.

If you're those that loves complication like Facebook's 'It's Complicated' relationship status, go for Android. You would love how complicated it is that you can make it more complicated like what I did. Like the Nokia and Sony Ericsson days where I prefer complicated Symbian S60V3 much over Sony Ericsson 'user-friendly' interface.

Not much of fanboyism here. Just a word for all of us. It's all up to the thickness of your Wallet and personal preference.

You just can't tell whether Android wins or iOS wins. I admit iOS leads in the UI, smoothness, lagless etc but when it comes to customization. I believe you can't find a proof to show that iOS will win.

By the way. Don't forget that iOS is Apple-Only. It's damn easy for Apple to optimized for just few devices. Given same amount of resource(capital), Samsung needs to work on 20 devices(a random number that came up in my mind, never really counted) while Apple needs to work only on 3 devices (Pad Pod Phone). Don't you think it's unfair to compare this way?

Please don't start a Android vs Apple war here. This is Android Subforum, not iOS. iOS supporter just get back to your territory (Here) in this forum.
