For those who has the left side screen lift/creak issue, just sharing my experience here.

Got my N7 just before Raya and i just noticed that i had the screen issue a few days ago.. Really annoyed by it. After some googling decided to fix it myself this morning. It was easy and just took me 15 minutes, and the problem is gone.

I used the solution here, also this video here for the guide on how to take off the back cover (only the beginning part).

Usb on the go cannot power hard drive

Not enough power.

I think it is not faulty. Just not enough power to on your external hdd. That's why previously i mentioned to use Wireless External HDD ( estimate RM570+ - Seagate)

It can only work on fat32 low capacity ,say 120 gb . Above that your usb hard drive need to have a power port
The N7 power output is insufficient to support larger size hd

I haven't tried this idea yet, but you can try to combine y cable + usb otg + usb male to female to get more power.

in theory, it should work though. I had already ordered the cables, but the cables haven't reach yet so can't test whether it really works or not 

Use normal set up like everyone did
OTG cable + HDD + stickmount

u just connect ur hard disk to modem tat got dnla or file sharing
thn use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...ngs.android.pop
conect to wifi, thn change it to LAN view, setting>new>scan or server (just type in the ip address if u knw)
thn u will found ur hard disk, u can open ur hard disk files when every u like n watch movie too.

if u didn't go hard disk, but u got computer, u can do tat too
just right click any folders u want 2 share, n click advance sharing
and share, thn u can view the file in ES file explorer ady
u can setup password also ler  2 prevent other ppl connected 2 ur network 2 view it

usb otg is no good lar
just use file sharing in any computer, share the file
thn u can view or open the file inside ur phone ady if connected 2 the wifi,
fast n easy n also save battery

a 32gb pen drive already can put hundred episode of series .

I can confirm CNA and Glazed works with stickmount and can read ext HDD. Currently using CNA 3 Nightly
