Mayb 1 malaysia tab comes wit jellybean hehe
No JB, 1pad uses Froyo... which is ancient! But then, our great nation's ministers will proudly say some idiotic speeches about how good/advance their 1pad...
I doubt Asus will release their own version so soon, as the Nexus will eat its sales. Plus, I'm sure they have some sort of understanding with Google. Anyways, if it does come out, good for you. I personally won't buy any model that doesn't have a Nexus name on it.
Anyways, I got the order confirmation receipt. Stupid thing is; the receipt states it's going to be sent from Google Asia Pacific Singapore to my sister's address in Australia, and Singapore doesn't even have a launch date yet!! So basically my Nexus 7 is going from Singapore to Australia and then back to where I live in Singapore again. WTF!! O_o
then why would the manufacture warn you to backup when doing update
coz they cant guaranted wether your data will be corrupted anot.
They warn you like all other dev, just to make sure rather than you blame them if you are stupid enough not following steps. I have no problem with my Nexus from the day I acquired it. If you know what you are doing, then it is safe to say your data is safe.
i wont risk my important data on the onboard storage...especially sensitive data....its easy gone if you got a firmware corruption or you sent to rma
i worked in some industry.....i know how risky to store in onboard storage.
some might not agree with me......until your information leaked then dont blame lolz...
just like edison case
That depends on personal preferences, as you have your own perspective from the beginning, there is no point discussing more about this issue.
The point Google don't want to add extra SD slot is to minimize problem and I'll fully support this as I've own a phone with SD card and also Nexus which don't. In the end I prefer Nexus which gives less hassle dealing with the card.
i really hope google can find a way to make the black bar at the bootom of the screen dissapear...i found its rather disturbing when playing games...

not yet bro, , i just saw a demo on utube, i saw the black bar at the bottom even when playing games...feel its will be accidently push in high intense screen touching games...
This happens to GNex as well and it is up to the AppDev to do it, not Google. I do hope that Google points this out and encourage Dev to make full screen app during IO but apparently they didn't... sigh
Hope that newer games utilize the full screen just like YouTube. Just add a menu button available in game and it's done!
BTW, you can hide the Navy bar in Custom ROM.

But apple is bad that they're targeting Google. First, banned GTab 10.1 then Nexus. Now they're going to produce mini ipad (rumour). 7~8"

Well it's google who makes Steve Jobs pissed off in the first place, by introducing Android. Steve was the mentor of the Google's founder and he sees the Android is a way to backstab him.
Steve...may he rest in peace... just can't accept another challenge just like MS vs Apple. That is why he's so pissed and sue every contender in order to make Apple last longer than last time.
