you sure it can support USB OTG? It is a deal breaker to me if it does not come with a microSD card slot. They make it for "content consumption" but why limit us to only "consume" online content.

most likely will get one for my kids. But will see whether Asus will launch a better specs 7" tab with rear camera and microSD card before October.

if it does not support OTG and MHL to HDMI, i will hold my horse and wait for better configuration from Asus. Asus will definitely come out with an almost identical form factor tablet but with all the bell and whistle - microSD slot, OTG, MHL HDMI, 3G, etc. My budget for the Asus one will be around RM1,000-RM1,200 for WiFi only version... start dreaming and finger crossed.

lastest hardware - YES, but nothing new on hardware except the new price point. I think the MHL HDMI has been squeeze out by the low price point. Since one of the review site has confirm it has no MHL HDMI, i will skip this for the time being.

the lack of external storage slot is the deal breaker for me. Without a sizable storage for all the goodies, how to "consume" vast content with it? Been waiting for a better version with full features from Asus at higher price but so far not even a slight rumour. So get the Tab 7.7 instead.

it is much snappier than i expected on stock ICS rom, comparable to my Note on custom ROM. Read quite a lot review of it based on HoneyComb saying it lags with HoneyComb.

lol... this is true. The Note threads also starts to confuse me - Note, Note II, Note 10.1. Now need to double check before i click on the thread.

the mod should allow this sub-forum to put a photo as thread header like the garage forum, easier for uncle like me with not so good eyesight to distinguish all the different thread. I think the laptop sub-forum also got that feature.
