luckily i bought from garage sales early batch, able to get for <1100 for 16GB.

now seems many garage sale people also increase to 1200 already.

but still, its a much better buy than samsung tab2 7inch, or tab 7+

yeah, manage to boot, just restore everything with titanium backup.

last time dare not flash any rom, cos worry if screw up cant boot, i cant enter recovery.
my cwm cant use the volume down + power to enter, need to use app to enter.

but i ask in xda they say plug usb cable and connect to computer, then only the combo keys will work.
i tried and indeed can enter cwm.
so since i can enter cwm, no harm trying new rom.

let me play around with the settings  and other stuff first.
everything looks very strange and different to me bacause i use tablet mode by 175dpi change since day one.
this one kindda like weird hybrid tablet phone mode with stock dpi.    need to get use to it.

it has a very cool boot animation by the way.
and it boot very fast. i was expecting need to wait very long for first boot.
maybe its the quad core.

Why even bother to change since you got CWM working properly

As for me i have no choice as the only way i can get CWM working is through rom manager - this is no good as if phone softbrick, i cannot access it to boot into recovery mode. Also i failed to boot into recovery in fastboot mode even with phone connected to PC

My favorite is CNA 3.2 which combines the best of stock, AOPK n AOSP : it is the best and most well featured rom. EXtremely stable with no bugs so far. Except for XenonHD which freezes sometimes, the other roms are too worth to try
These custom roms has put the NExus 7 to a higher level of performance and features

I only wipe data the first time i flashed Team EOS ; subsequent flashes of the other roms, i only wipe caches only thus preserving all my data. In all cases the install was perfect ( except XenonHD , some slight freeze n FC)
In all these roms, I use Trinity kernel

Incidentally, CNA 2.0 is also my present rom in my Galaxy Nexus ( i have tested 8 roms )

I use the gapps recommended by the respective developer. All these are just standard google apps - don't think there is any better or worse one

In gnex I only use teameos gapps

in dead trigger game, is it worth to buy the chain saw? will it be useful when run out of ammo?

oh ya wana remind you guys, flashing to another rom seems to delete the game process. remember log in and use the online backup. titanium backup wont restore the saved game. so sad...

I have the Touch Screen issue. C70 batch.

Keypad/apps/screen need to touch a few times to respond.

How do you test the all 10 points?    I only tried dead trigger and so far it has no problems running the game.
