QUOTE(mtxx @ Aug 3 2012, 01:16 PM) cannot just see for price only. http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-ne...-connector.htmlthe actual tab is one of the heaviest i've seen. at 680g for reference ipad2 601 ipad3 652 tab 10.1 560g. at that weight, its really really uncomfortable to hold. apart from that, look at reviews, a510 screen is terrible, very very pale and washed out. its just regular tft lcd, not IPS display, you might not mind the weight, but i'm very sure you will notice the pale and ugly color. Added on August 3, 2012, 1:18 pm the mines challenger IT mart. price i forgot lo, i think between rm60-80. bought long long long ago. You don't even need a voltage regulator. What you need is just a adapter that can fit the particular pin. The given adapter has an input range from 110 to 240V. It itself is a voltage regulator that provides 5V 2A constant out. |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Aug 3 2012, 03:53 PM) Got insider news that a brand new Nexus-based/themed store will open on ground floor in LYP soon, catering to only Google Nexus- and Google Experience products and their accessories. Also will be receiving the Nexus Q, hopefully tomorrow, to play test. The unit is meant for this Nexus-based/themed store to be opened in LYP, but am glad I get to bring it back home to play with it for a few days before returning it back to the owner of that store for the store opening. Google-linked store? Or self opened store. If you get what I mean.If someone open a shop selling only Google Devices, I guess the shop will go bankrupt very soon in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Aug 3 2012, 11:56 PM) Yup, note n s3 really superior with their HD screens. To me, AMOLED is good (as I'm using one, sure support support) at contrast. I normally put my GNex on Auto Brightness. In most situation, it won't go full brightness. When I purposely set it to max brightness, it's hurting my eyes. This never happened when I'm using the SLCD in Galaxy W. It's not so bright or maybe hurting due to the extreme contrast.tab 7.7 very vibrant also. overall super amoled screens are really good. really big fan of amoled. the super IPS lcd2 on the HTC one X is the only type if screen equilvalent to amoled. in fact its better, because amoled need to stick to dark wallpaper to save power, super IPS no need to worry this issue. now if only nexus 7 also made of these super vibrant screens..... ahaha, wishful thinking. AMOLED colour is really not natural. Too vibrant and saturated. Its White will never be white without extreme tuning while SLCD's white can easily be white. Even on the low end device like Galaxy W or HTC Mozart with SLCD. We must admit that LCD technology is far more mature than AMOLED. It was in the market decades ago while AMOLED is only starting. Issue like Burn In (image retention) in AMOLED is an evident that the technology is not mature enough. But IPS Screen (the one on N7) also has image retention issue Both have own advantage. You want pure white, get LCD. Want extrasaturated colour, get AMOLED |

QUOTE(ladiesman88 @ Aug 7 2012, 12:46 AM) Well this seller is selling at rm770..im guessing shes not taking a large profit margin? Hmm..20 bucks..might as well get it now. Seems like she/he is ordering 3 units at a time. The USD15 postage is shared with 3 devices thus it's much cheaper. Else if ordering it one unit at a time to US Address, it already cost RM667. I calculated. Ordering 3 devices at once, each only cost RM632. Then selling at 770 maybe the seller earn around 80~100 perhaps? |
