My BM is really hopeless, in my 1973 O level I got only a credit 7 while the rest of the subjects I got straight A's. I took it again n make a slight improvement to credit 6.

But I think kontot is more like a slang word... so it's ok! LOL!

I put US address just in case and it went thru.
This means after30 sept, no more 25 bucks offer, but those that already got the credit still can use it right?  Does the credit expire?
*
Credit expires on June 30, 2013.

Since you get your device today, may be you can help to try if you have this similar issue
1. Fully Charge the Nexus 7
2. Power Off Nexus 7
3. Unplug from Power supply.
4. Power On Your Nexus 7

See if can power ON. Mine cannot Power ON. Unless i plug to power for a while, boot it up. After boot up, unplug the power.

Charging everything work fine, dunno why cannot POWER ON using button.
*
I did the exact scenario before. No issues. Try pressing your power button for like 10 secs?

i went there thought just want to report my case, and bring my tablet home while waiting them order speaker spare parts.

but they insist on keeping my tablet there, and say will ready in one week.

hmm.gif i'm not sure why they are so confident in one week.
maybe the parts are on the way there, probably we'll get ours in the same time.

pm me if you got contacted by asus.
we can keep track of our case together. nod.gif
*
I thought of that too... hopefully that is the case! thumbup.gif Boleh... we keep in touch with each other. icon_rolleyes.gif

Anyone register in the asus malaysia website? Which serial number should i use CSSN or the one with C80XXX. Please advise . Thanks
*
I have not bothered to try. But from what I observe, Google seems to refer to the serial number under "CSSN". Try that first.

However, my LYN seller (bro 88sales88) couldn't register using that number. If you can't register with the CSSN number, try using the other serial number that starts with C????. The Low Yat service centre guy told me that is actually the serial number. Mebbe Asus refers to that? Both numbers are quoted on the box and on the warranty card.

Try purchasing the app using web version of Google Play on your computer. Better still, try this using Chrome web browser.

Asus service is the best
Wohoo...

I got back my nexus 7 from lowyat Asus service center.

Sent on Monday received on Thursday. Not bad.
Wanna hear my claiming drama?

Well I sent it in on Monday. At first I jz want to go there report my issue, and bring my tablet home continue use until spare part arrive. But the lady there insist I keep my tablet there. So I gave her lo.
Yesterday I suddenly remember my tablet is still rooted. Boot loader unlocked. And its on paranoid android!!

Once the technician there on my tablet, he will surely see the unlock icon, and the paranoid boot animation, and I'm screwed.

So today I went lowyat, bring my laptop, hoping to take my nexus7 back restore factory image n lock the bootloader.

When I reach there the lady say mine repair already n return my tablet to me. No questions asked.

Hahaha.... so lucky

@jpeg
You can go take bek ur tablet already.

Bloody hell... I called them yesterday evening. They said they replaced the LCD for me already, the day before yesterday. But the status is STILL under testing for QC. Not approved for release to customer yet. The guy on the phone said must be something unusual as normally QC testing after repairs shouldn't take 2 days! Kanasai! I told them to give me update today, to let me know EXACTLY what is wrong. No phone call fromm them yet. Kanasai!

Just a bit of an update: I called them up again after my last posting here. Still "under testing"! What the hell! They actually changed the LCD and the "top panel" (whatever that means, I can only think of the plastic frame).

I checked on Tuesday, the guy said parts gonna be installed and thereafter tested and I should be able to collect within this week. He said should be very fast now.

Called on Wednesday, the guy said parts installed and under testing. Should be ready for collection by Friday.

Called Thursday (yesterday), the guy said "Hmmm... mebbe got problem, shouldn't take so long to test".

Called today, Friday, the guy said still under testing and normally takes 2-3 working days to test (probably bullshitting me as he said this only after I told him of my earlier enquiries and the answers that I got). But I did not shout at them or anything. Yet. The time for that has not come yet. And I also do not want to rush them too much, in case it's true that they are really still testing.

Will give them till middle of next week before I start "shouting". If there is a problem during testing, they should at least call me and tell me what exact problem they are experiencing. At least I know more. And they did promise me to get an exact update from the engineer yesterday and to call me about it. No call is forthcoming.

oh, screen i think will take longer lo.

speaker is very easy to fix.
just unscrew some 4 screws then can remove the speaker d.

the speaker's power wire is connected to the main board with detachable wires.
it is not soldered into it. easily can connect and remove.

if i got the spare part, i think i might be able to replace myself also.
its really easy
