Guys not sure if this is a good idea or not but for the 50th thread we should make a gathering, go to some resort, barbeque, have some fun sports etc. To celebrate the 50th thread. Anyone agree?

QUOTE(ikeken @ Jun 28 2012, 09:48 AM)
Hmm...

Im thinking of tinting my car black. Last I heard if tint back EcoTint our security film warranty would not void?

Whats the cheapest they have ah? I just wanna make it darker... Advisable?
*
Its not that it won;t VOID your warranty - It still does for the initial layer that has been installed by PROTON.

The difference is if there are any problems you can go back to ECOTINT for rectification of the second layer.

Any tint that has been re-layered with a second layer will definitely be VOIDED of its WARRANTY regardless if its ECOTINT, VKOOL or 3M....

the aggresive nose is the one without chrome right? the 1st gen before facelift.

the facelifted with chrome look so tame compared to the first one.
*
I thought it was the other way around....

The tamer ones are from the 1st generation whilst the more aggressive ones are from the facelifted version... hmm.gif

rims, wide body or not, twin pipe or not, change fender or not.

Widebody if its not done professionally will make the car look really boxy IMHO....

I think replacing only the front bumper will be good....

(Comparison of bodykit material were discussed in previous threads... but its easier for you to google it)
*
Couldn't agree more with you...

This PP vs PU vs FRP vs Fiber topic is widely available via GOOGLE.....

It just needs some effort reading it up....

KL AUTO should be included as an option too if you ask me...

They were one of the pioneers for auto-foaming in Malaysia. nod.gif nod.gif nod.gif

I cheapskate nia

KL auto can match RM399 price???
Confirm double this amount jorr..

I personally scouted for the foam cans jorrr

Cheap cheap nia...

But not dare to diy

Any volunteers for diy

I get the foams from suppliers
Hehehe
*
There's a reason why some are offering at RM399 and some even higher than that - Experience, Quality & Reliability...

No monneh

For me foam is the same
Checked out all the foams jorr

Those are all Construction Foams

Cheap stuffs

Ask those foaming fellas
That y u see all are silver cans

Labels koyak jorr mah...

Workmanship quality
Not worth  more than double the price my fren

Find correct holes
Pump it full

I believe icecube already have the expertise on that jorr
*
Well, I am in no way denying anyone of their expertise...icecube or icetray or icetea tongue.gif

Well, for me the workmanship transpires as much importance as the quality of the item itself. What's the point of having top notch branded item when the install/workmanship is crap....

The materials being used for the foaming might be the same but the quality & reliability of products is what i am pointing about...tho' in no way am I saying that the RM399 foam's product is no good....
