Usage same.. daily at night till morning i go to work.
Better monitor another month and see how.

But I'm happy with its performance, it cools very fast.

See bill how much.. if really RM100++.. then I'll be looking at a Daikin GA or ME inverter. But seriously why ME so much more expensive.
*
ME was fully imported from Thailand and GST with import tax vs local made, but I was seen the Daikin ga compressor has change into swing type and show on Acson brand.

hi guys.....recently my older daikin 2.0hp died...
my room size is 15.5' wide x 26.5' long and 9.5' high....
there are no windows to this room, full double layer brick walls and a door for entrance and exit....

this unit will be used sparingly estimated about 3 times a week with about 4 to 5 hours max usage each time...

any recommendation???

i already have a dehumidifier and air purifier in the same room....

I was hunting for ME 1.5 Inverter today and went to a shop, was told by the lady boss that she had ME inverter and non-inverter installed at home and found that the inverter air-cond is not as cool as the non-inverter one and when the inverter slows down the compressor you could get awoken by the higher temperature. Has anyone experienced this?

Besides that, I was recommended another model instead, MS-GK13VA, a deluxe ME model with 5 stars energy saving rating. The price difference is only RM160 cheaper than the inverter model but it's specs on paper is better than the deluxe version found in Malaysia, the running current is rated at 4.5A only compared to our MS-FG13VC @ 5.0A, and rated 4 stars energy saving only.

After further research I found that this model is only listed on India ME, in Malaysia it seems that our air-con specs are worse, be it standard version or deluxe version, inverter version or non-inverter... These models aren't listed on ME Malaysia website, so I asked the lady boss about it and she told me that they are one of the few shops selling it only, can't find it elsewhere  hmm.gif

I am puzzled now, which one should I get?

Can i know this model (MS-GK13VA) you ask for is how much? does this air cond got ionizer?

Go with ME you won't disappointed, unless you want cheaper and don't care about quality then go for MHI only

Thinking of getting a new ME aircon for my master bedroom. Below is my usage profile

1. Going to switch on the air con during night time, from 11pm to 5am.
2. Weekend maybe extra usage during afternoon / evening nap, maybe around 2 hrs.

Is it worth to go for inverter unit for extra about RM500?

Why not get Daikin GA? There was cheaper...

MHI not as good than York wow. If fully imported still selling cheaper than Daikin GA that meant the plastic cover thickness should be lesser grade than York here

Also compressor grade are higher input watt as out of EER already, maybe is the Toshiba 20 yrs ago compressor still offering now.

If you consider for turn on a day less than 4 hours or rental office from someone after few year later wanna moving again n just leave to the owner is still can be consider.
