my Vios battery KO-ed and can't start the car even i jump start it. i think the battery went out. the battery is still under warranty, could it be claim at any shop that sells the marathoner century NS60S Vios. Thanks |

Hi how do i check if my battery is dying or is it my alternator. sometimes its pretty hard to start. mine's the old vios. i'm staying in subang USJ. if its the battery i dont mind getting one from you.

There's two way to check the charging system (alternator), 1, Using the 12volts meter to check the reading during engine running (with air-cond & headlamp). Less than 13.5v means alternator charging low. 2, Disconnect the negative terminal during engine running (with air-cond & headlamp). If engine still running means ok, if it stop means charging low. Normally battery can last 1 1/2 - 2years.. If more than 2years means it's time to change it. TQ |
