Do a backup from recovery. Your rom plus all your stuff will be 100% backup. Restoring back this backup will give you exactly what you have at point of backup

Always do a backup in case you do not like the new rom or your phone hang during flashing
It is similar to putting on your safety belt
I would say backup is compulsory. Choice is yours

If you are trying to play the video in post #1 there is an error in the upload. cannot even view it in PC. However the subsequent link in post #4 ( fixed) plays fine directly on the phone inside the webpage. Try again on post #4
Everything is default being setup by phone . You need not do any special settings to view youtube videos on webpages

No such issues with my card 64 GB class 10. All my mp3 and movie files ( up to 2 GB ) all copied over and played well. My card is however formatted in FAT32 so that I can switch it easily to use it on my Note

No your firmware will remains as the updated version.

I don't think root has any effects on such things. Anyway I am on latest XXLF6 Msian rom

Nowadays so cheap. Only early last year i paid RM 220 for a Sandisk class 4 32 GB. Now with same amount and slightly less I can get a Sandisk class 10 64 GB which just only 2 months ago I paid RM 300 ( than considered a good price ). The 64 GB Class 6 when launch early this year was RM 500 !!
Moral of story - be happy with your price as it will still goes down over the next few months

NEVER - no tax and duties for all such mobile accessories. Even for mobile phones I bought from Clove UK , officially there is no duties and sales tax. The most if hold by custom just need pay RM 100 as SIRIM permit but even that I escaped from paying . Packaged was delivered directly to me by DHL - really a door to door delivery

Looks more like poor sdcard quality. Even through wifi file explorer app a 2gb movie file transfer under 2 min to phone external sdcard. 20 mins is ridiculous

30 mb/s is theoretical speed only. Just like your car specs say max speed 200 km/hour but in practice maintain at 150 km/hour is already stressing the engine n you will not hit 200 unless prepare for engine seizure

No lah; it is most 4.5 times only as you have to discount off at least 15% of battery inefficiency
