QUOTE(Yluxion @ Jun 29 2012, 10:50 AM) as far as I know, Sun-U is bringing in http://www.icover.kr/shop/goods/goods_view...category=004002. Anyone selling in MY? Or is it available on ebay etc? The website you mentioned is in korean...it covers almost full screen. With 11k Korea Won on the official web, I guess here will be selling around RM35-50. |

QUOTE(Yluxion @ Jun 29 2012, 11:04 AM) Sun-U is local distributor located at Penang. I added them in facebook which is the reason why I know this is coming. looks like the benks hsr, clear yet anti-fingerprint, but covers full screen hehehe. sounds good.I guess people here will start selling those in mid/late July. How good will this be? I don't know, I'm just a normal consumer like you. |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jun 29 2012, 11:24 AM) the benks HSR still attracts finger print after some time of usage, but not as severe as other clear ones. sorry, i think my english wasn't right. I meant benks hsr doesn't cover full screen, so the imagic SP sounds better since it seems to cover the full screen. My apologies for my bad english.didn't cover full screen till the edges. |

QUOTE(cutypuppy @ Jun 29 2012, 11:28 AM) My wife s3 using those cheap anti glare/anti finger print SP for few week, always in/out from bag, also no scratch yet, how could those expensive & clear type 1 so fast got scratch??? also depends on how you use the phone and how you take care of it. The SP is not all-mighty Not possible cheap SP can last longer than expensive SP |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jul 2 2012, 06:33 PM) if go to sleep with 99% battery and wake up 8 hours later, there will be only 90% left. I'm guessing it's not normal since he said 12am - 9am it's 25% drain....... yours is similar to mine at about 10% drain overnight I do exactly like what you do, except i set mine to GSM instead of WCDMA. I'm guessing it's pretty normal. |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jul 2 2012, 06:43 PM) but he didn't specify if he's on GSM or WCDMA? So if it's on WCDMA, 25% drain is normal? luckily mine is always hovering around the 10% mark.In my experience, my battery drains faster when using WCDMA compared to GSM. Added on July 2, 2012, 6:44 pm When i open my battery status in settings, i see that my phone 'wakes up' when i sleep. I have no idea what it is |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jul 2 2012, 06:59 PM) Went to Taman Megah pasar malam yesterday night and bought myself a hard-silicone TPU case for RM10 I like your DIY approach!!!! Not bad for RM10It didn't fit properly at first, but i cut out some little extra parts of it around the earphone jack, power button, volume rocker, and microUSB port and it fit perfectly Pretty worth it considering it's only RM10 ![]() MORE PICS » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Hi guys, need to ask some questions.... I have root only with stock rom.
1. What's the difference between nandroid backup and titanium backup? 2. Is titanium backup the one you can use to do backup in CWM? 3. How do I remove samsung bloatware specified in the 1st page? Thanks everyone!!!! |

QUOTE(firstknight @ Jul 3 2012, 09:00 AM) ah ok, i missed the last few posts. too much new posts to catch up. So the nandroid backup is via the recovery mode of the phone and TB is under CWM?Also, do you know how to remove samsung bloatware? just remove the apk files? QUOTE(firstknight @ Jul 3 2012, 09:13 AM) TB is an app itself.....not cwm... Use TB to uninstall our freeze app...you need to purchase the pro version to freeze and root.... then what is the backup option in CWM for? Does it work like TB backup? So, removing samsung bloatware is actually freezing it using TB? Any other ways? |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jul 3 2012, 09:17 AM) no.. Thank you so much for the explanations!!!!! Really appreciate it. So I can do a nandroid backup when I run CWM (I've rooted my phone) and click on 'Create Backup'?nandroid is via CWM aka the modded recovery mode of the phone. original recovery doesn't include backup and restore option. TB is a backup software that requires root permission. it can be use as normal app in the phone, not in the recovery. difference between both backup option is, nandroid is a full backup of everything that includes ROM, apps etc., while TB backups apps and data. means, if anything goes wrong after flashing, u can use nandroid to revert back to the state prior to flashing. while TB backup is for you to restore the apps and user data after successfully flashed new ROM. remove bloatware can be done by either freezing the app, or by uninstalling it via TB Pro. |
