Wonder if our New iPad 4G able to use the cellular data number as ID for sending iMessage instead of using Apple ID? Did The New iPad 4G able to send SMS as well? Thanks in advace.

i think use iMessenger on iPad is using apple ID as user ID.so far i know no sms function on iPad.

Thanks I call Maxis they say should b able to use it. Strange thing is in Setting - About - Cellular Data Number - Unknown. The support from Maxis say the number should appear. Let see what outcome from Maxis ...

same like me, using celcom instanet prepaid broadband. at setting will show unknown

Only Apple ID. Won't work with cellular number. Check with official Apple forums.
