About the SGS3 slim case: Absolutely perfect fit, which means it follows the contours of the phone tightly. The outside is quite testured for nice grip and the inside is completely smooth. The case is very thin but stiff as well. I think it would protect against scratches but not with drops. Pros: perfect fit, almost negligible thickness, access to all buttons, ports, etc, scratch protection. Cons: Perfect fit - it could be a bit hard to put on and off for some people but it's not a problem for me, will not protect against dropping, glossy inside (but this is personal preference), I wish there is a perfectly clear color .
