yup, the engine will be turn off if you press the start button while driving. I tested it.
I remember a forummer said will damage cvt gearbox if car is being pushed or rolling while engine is off. Because the coolant for gear box not activated while engine off. If its true then why allow us to press once to turn off while driving? Should reprogram to 2 quick presses while driving to avoid accidentally pressing it while going downhill.

Can't imagine the outcome of swatting a mosquito sitting on the start button while driving fast and furious. doh.gif

I have just collected my car after putting in SC for another 3D2N to change the OWV. Overcranking happening too often and fuel consumption crazy. You can check my fuely data.

Cross fingers my car will run perfectly after this surgery.

mean u admitted your car in SC for second time OWV change?
*
Nope. The first holiday was in my service review on 1k service and troubleshoot FC problem and other issues.
This second holiday is changing the valve and gasket after I tirelessly convince them to change. I also recorded sound of overcranking many times to prove to them.
Now the car response feel very tight and heavy maybe because they tightened everything for me again. Done 1,300km to-date.

Bro, pls let me know your fuel consumption after change the OWV.

My full tank only can last 300km as well for city drive.
Highway driving fuel consumption is normal.
If after change the OWV can improve the fuel consumption, I might decide to do it.
*
have not used up the tank yet but now 1 block can go 40km if accelerate frequent. Otherwise 1 block can go 60km when drive gingerly.seems like not much improvement. Now using D mode difficult to hit above 2k rpm as it has been programmed to change gear although you step hard on the gas pedal. D mode only give quick acceleration to 80kmh. Must use S mode or downshift 4th gear to get power. With this tuning I presume the FC should be better. I will try different driving styles and 2 fuel ups before coming to a conclusion.

for those who pay RHB HP and did it on the RHB Online Banking, the biller to add is "RHB/RHBIB Auto Finance (HP)" izzit?
*
Yup. Under bill payment category. But its silly they do not have the option for recurrent payment. Every month have to remember to do it. I will suggest to them. And first month must pay extra for the postage and stamp duty.

i do mix driving now with shiftronic and D. pickup slow step D until it reach 40km/h with RPM lesser than 2k then switch shiftronic to gear 4 - 5. i have observed that at gear 5-7 have better fuel consumption.
*
Even my 9 year old daughter who sits at the back tells me that my car doesn't fly anymore after changing owv. Unless I use S mode. D mode will lose to all cars I annoyed before fixing owv issue. doh.gif

Still got more than half tank of shell. Next refuel will try Petronas. At the rate its going, it seems no change. My daily route does not have highways. Maybe that's the true FC for IPOH city routes and traffic.

New problem to my less than 2 months old car.  sad.gif

This morning after start car, I press fold/unfold button to manually unfold the side mirrors, nothing happen. After a few tries, it unfold.

On evening, the button have totally no respond anymore!  mad.gif

EDIT:
When the car start to move, it can unfold.
When lock the car, it can fold.
Only the door panel button not working anymore!

Mine every method does not work at all after fixed owv. But after 6 start ups it worked normal again. Giving me the impression that the software did not boot up properly. Seems like a buggy software.

today morning, overcrank sound again when start car although this overcrank never happened for the past 7 days after changed OWV. I do have the same feeling that the overcrank was due to choke being set to rev higher during cold start or maybe set to crank the engine extra 3-5 seconds to ensure the engine is started up with One Single Push Start.

But if that is so, then why for the first 7 days this overcrank did not happen although there were cold starts?

When I first got my new car, it never happened until 2 weeks later and it just got more frequent and it became worse when the engine needed 12-15 seconds to start up each morning.

I will have to monitor whether the engine will have difficulty starting up in the coming weeks. If there isn't, then my OWV issue is solved and it is confirmed that the choke and ecu settings for cold starts do trigger the overcranking to ensure single push start-up.

By the way, my 1st full tank still have 3 blocks left since replaced OWV and I have already done 200km where I would have normally finished all 8 blocks last time. So I am sure my FC is better now after replaced OWV.

It only happens when the auto-choke tries to rev it near 3K rpm. So far, it only happened twice; both times in the first week of receiving the car. I have been monitoring my every start. No more high auto-choked revs, no more overcrank.
*
mine rev below 2k rpm, usually 1800rpm and the overcrank came.
