My car kena de-virginize already finally on sunday. Some idiot mofo tried to park behind my car and failed. He try to squeeze into the small space behind my back and scrape my rear bumper. Now got a black mark there about 1 foot long in the middle.

There is two long line of chipped pain at the top and bottom of the bumper. Other minor scrap in the middle making the paint rough also. I think im just going to leave it be. Too lazy to go fix it. Too expensive to keep correcting other ppl mistake and also i need to sent SG again once re-painted. Waste time nia.

Sien with KL drivers. Kena twice already at this place. This is the 3rd time someone scrape my bumper in KL and also kena once my waja ppl scratch it at PJ. f*** what is wrong with all this ppl la wei... lesen kopi vmad.gif

Sometimes nicknamed "clear bra" or "chip guard" 3M VentureShield can be professionally installed on rocker panels, mirror backs, full hoods and more because our film comes in 60" widths.

laugh.gif Hahaha! Missed that! laugh.gif But overall, its a good thing to keep all those "lesen kopi" owners from leaving their signature all over your bumpers/sides/wing mirrors/etc.

my anti trap feature seems to be not functioning well. Does the window stops halfway if detect something is on the way blocking it?

Had similar issue with mine. Get it fixed @ your nearest Service Center smile.gif
But I'm still annoyed with the door trim extruding a little when the window winds all the way up sad.gif

QUOTE(FenomX @ Jun 25 2012, 06:12 PM)
finally my car bodywork is done but i complaint about my alignment issue where my steering tend to steer to left a lil bit. After the inspection, they told me it is the camber problem and they need the technician help, wonder why COE don't have the technician?

Anyone once they done my camber, my car is ready for the TT v3 ;D
*
I went to my regular tire shop and got my alignment done (since it hit 1.6K KM before the 1st weeK sad.gif ). It was also drifting to the left before alignment. And the guy also told me the camber on the left wheel is a little 'off'. Seems like a common problem all... unsure.gif
Anyway, more worrying is how all my wheels seem a little wobbly sad.gif It was visible when he was finish-balancing. If it were just 1 wheel, the I would be able to accept that I might have hit a pot-hole a little violently. But 2? And there were no scratch marks or anything to indicate I hit anything. Wondering if anyone else spotted similar issues? unsure.gif

many of us having the same issue where the steering tend to steer to left. I never even hit anything to be exact. So i conclude this as factory fault based on my own theory.
*
Alignment and camber still not as bad-lah... can be fixed. At best we can petition and get PROTON to do it for free tongue.gif
But the 'gelong' rims?! yawn.gif I still get vibrations when driving in excess of 110KM/H. You have the same issue?

Fenom,

Agreed with the fact that it's a "factory fault based"

But I don't agree with why the hell Proton charged us when we go & do allignment with them after 1k ODO mad.gif It should be free since even if it's 2000km the car still new maa..
*
+1
I couldn't make it before 1000KM because I was in the middle of a journey to Ipoh from Malacca, on an emergency, at night. What was i supposed to do? Service @ 500KM? Or stop the car in the middle of my journey and get it towed to the nearest service center to be serviced the next day? blink.gif

I'm sure one side of the bumper would also not be flush against the body. I asked - nothing can be done apparently sad.gif I have half-a-mind to get it done at a body shop - just afraid it'll screw my warranty unsure.gif

ABS? hmm.gif
On the topic of breaking, has anyone tried breaking hard @ speeds of, say, 80KM/H? Apart from the lack of break feedback & slow stopping, I hear a "gruuk" sound just before it stops. Sounds like bad break-pads, but I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced similar symptoms. Is it just mine? unsure.gif

thats the right way of how ABS works lah.

you'll feel the lack of feedback on the brake pedal and grinding, scraping or buzzing noise will appear.

steering shaking however, it couldn't be related to ABS. Didn't experienced this when braking hard in other ABS equipped car.
*

Scraping, yes. Buzzing, no. I'm a little worried about my stopping distance actually. Its worse than my '92 model Saga! sad.gif And the feedback is, like, stomping on a down pillow...

Normal? unsure.gif

4. driver arm rest power window 'pop-out' when scroll up - they open up the door trim and now ok

6. boot lid can open using the remote - check and align again latch, now ok
7. HU Light & Root Top light flashing while the car on idle or driving - a/c compressor kick-in, can't do anything except the HU display change from auto to light or dark...i change to dark setting

Don't want to sound like an old man but please don't f**k around with speed. Use Sepang/Batu Tiga if you REALLY have to.
Then again, I don't control your throttle paddle, so please use your heads before your feet

Have to find part-time job for mods already... tongue.gif

Anyway, anyone have issues with wind-noise? I know the overall seal is not good but I find the wind & outside nose at driver's side door a bit annoying. I sit there, so I can only say for the driver's side door. Does everyone have a similar issue or just me? unsure.gif

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Jul 11 2012, 11:51 AM)
To spin, you need to lose traction to all 4 wheels, otherwise how are you going to spin? Once you lose traction on the wheels, you no longer have directional control. ESC does not work if you don't have directional control anymore.

1 wheel hitting the puddle will not do much harm. Only when all 4 wheels hit the water and lifts the car completely off the road which then I consider as aquaplaning and ESC will not help.

Once the car starts spinning, nothing much can be done by ESC/traction control to stop it as all 4 wheels no longer have traction on the road. Driver input by steering in the correct direction can help stop the spin faster by trying to align the wheels to the spin to regain control.

ABS works when you are travelling in a straight line by providing you control without locking up the wheels. Once you start spinning, the tyres no longer have the traction to give you control.
*
3 wheels loose traction, 1 wheel creates spinning axis biggrin.gif Highly unlikely but logically possible... Just a thought rolleyes.gif
Appreciate your clarification on ESC thumbup.gif
