IF you're eying for the IAFM+, OWV isn't your concern.

At speeds below 120 km/h, mine used to be wind noise free till after the first time open front passenger window. Now there's a slight whistle.

In such cases, it's good to be a little deaf cool.gif

Trouble with the Preve is that it's relatively quiet and our ears pick up sounds which are muffled in noisier cars. I keep my door access card in the slot on the drivers door. Today I was troubled by the 'noise' it makes when going over a bad patch of road .. 'klik klak, klik klak'. Lol .. 10 years with the same card on a Wira and I never heard that before.

Added on July 1, 2012, 2:51 pmThink the current system of folding the side mirrors is a bad idea. Okay to fold in when you lock the car but not okay to wait till a certain speed before unfolding. I mean no matter what speed, who drives around with mirrors tucked in.

Many Malaysians favor parking by the front nose in rather than reverse the back in. More times than not, we need our mirrors unfolded when we're about to drive off. How to move off from side parking if mirror hasn't unfolded?

The system should be more intelligent. It should detect if the mirror was or wasn't manually folded when we entered the parking bay. If it detects we had manually folded the mirror, then it would mean that the parking bay is tight and the driver folded to avoid hitting something. In such a case, the mirror should be programmed to NOT automatically unfold.

If it was not folded prior to locking the car, then it should unfold as soon as the engine is started. Rather than unfold after a certain speed, a better compromise would be program the mirror to unfold after 5 seconds; so if anyone that parks in a tight space has enough time to prevent the unfolding accidentally hitting any object.

Question for everyone - how often do you have to manually fold in your mirror when parking? I rarely do.

Guy the sales breakdown for May 2012 has been released, something noteworthy is that TOYOTA will not provide sales data by variant to MAA anymore due to concern with competittion act! Wonder whats the reason, cause all the while they provide till April 2012, from May 2012 onwards the refused to provide anymore and the irony is that Proton Preve was launch in April 2012.

Maybe sales of Toyota Vios and Altis drop drastically so can't disclosed by breakdown!
