QUOTE(freaz @ Jun 30 2012, 03:00 PM) Done yes bro.. can you let me know if you fix the air leaking sound. i have this issue too.... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Took me 1 half hour to get this done. Installation is very straight forward. Just that the space to work is almost none. Have to crawl under the steering wheel. It helps if you have small hand and use small tools since got no room to turn the nut. Also make sure to tighten everything..mine got strange air leaking sound from the brake after install. Need to disassemble and install back...but after that everything works Of course you can always ask the shop to install for you |

I feels the same too..both Petronas & BHP RON95 fuel gives the best performance for my Forte. For the Preve CFE, i'm not so sure since my wife drive it most of the time |

Just got back from my 2nd service.
Total damage RM161 SC inform that my chassis no. may have some issue with valve leaking and need to go to HQ to rectify. They dun know what problem but i suspect the owv. Seems that proton is aware of the problem and made silent recall for certain chassis no. |

report in, silent reader since V8.
received my silver CFE last friday CN 77xx | reg no PKR 2xxx current mileage ~100km driving experience: brake response is good, car handling good; am driving MT car before this, need some time to learn/fit to the CVT driving style.... so far no major issue with the car yet with few minor matter: 1. chipped paint at front passenger door (looks like a small dot, like hit by something) 2. receive car and tyre pressure at 300, while driving can feel the bumpy; reduced to 210/220 per recommended spec. 3. missing 3 plastic screw at the bonnet wiring cover. 4. rear passenger door cannot open from inside (check and confirm child lock not activated) 5. air release sound (sssh.... sssh....) whenever pedal/release brake. 6. throttle response seems like got delay 1-2 sec. car not really move forward (or move on really slow) from standstill, even hard pedal the throttle. from standstill, D-mode, not pedal throttle, release brake, after 1-2 sec, pedal throttle, the car seems get good throttle response to move. looks like the car not really willing to move from standstill for 1-2 sec... few item to check with you guys: 1. the small piece water box cover for rain wiper. is it without any string/wire to hang it to the box body? cover can be totally removed/take away from the box itself? 2. anyone experience the same case stated above for #4 & #5 & #6? i read someone got fix the #4 prob at SC, can share how to fix it? (think not to wait until 1k service then only fix it....) need monitor to check whether there is wind noise from pillars or not.... thanks in advance for your sharing~ |
