yup. was having a chat with my mech engineerin fren in proton ytdy.  he mentioned that proton is working on a new ecu remap and it will b ready by merdeka. d D mode will be enhanced that would almost be like S mode. so after this D and S would not be much different. we will know in august lar. lolz.

Will the FC increase tremendously with this new ECU remap?  hmm.gif

It is a trade off, you want a zippy car, cannot expect FC to remain the same. Want the FC to remain the same, stick to the stock tuning.

thumbup.gif Great news indeed.

I just sometimes wonder, we've yet to hear any preve-swaying-related accident therefore we didn't know whether our ESP actually works? hmm.gif

What if it is faulty like some of us here who has their alarm faulty, OWV, as well as those who has their car shut off in the middle of the road...?

Anybody up for a trial run to test for this ESP thingy? brows.gif
Can put up a video here please...

Quoted from Paul Tan website

"The layman interprets car safety as being passive – which means the car must be good at saving your skin when you crash. He thinks the body must be “solid.” and he kicks the bumpers, shuts the hood and slams the door at the showroom to apparently test this by the sound the body parts make. This must be an acquired skill like wine tasting, as it doesn’t make sense to me at all. And then he counts the number of airbags in the car – the more, the better."

I laugh.gif at this statement, Proton bashers, banging the car does not equate to solidity of the car build icon_idea.gif

Oh, thanks guys. Hehe..  blush.gif  Sorry for the noob Q.

I think it's due to the fact that most of the issues have been thoroughly discussed before here. So the so-called otai of this thread is just checking in if there's any new issues while along the way help those who's new.

+ the existence & the expansion in numbers of Prevoc members in FB i believe to be one of the contributing factor as well.

Well, what can we say? Maybe it's time to move on.

Soon enough I think.. ph34r.gif

EDIT: Done quite a number of 'troll' swatting too! tongue.gif

Bro,

Kalau nak basuh pastikan mereka tidak recycle the washing cloth, if not it will cause scratches on your beloved Preve.

tinted voucher actually the already kau timmm with tint shop.... example voucher rm300, then u install tint at that shop with voucher then cost RM1300 then minus voucher only need to pay RM1000..

but if u go directly to others tint shop, maybe that package only RM800-RM900...

thats marketing strategy ohhhh....  brows.gif
*
I think the ecotint is good enough for me, but if one feel not enough tint, go for additional layer but it will void the ecotint 5 years warranty

not a problem for me as i always go in reverse while parking, so i can just drive forward out of parking and the mirrors will unfold themselves... icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Same as me, i always go in reverse while parking. This unfold thingy, you just have to get used to it or if possible program the side mirror to unfold when starting the car?

Who's your friend? Is he a friend of a friend who met a new friend at mamak store, who's Uncle's distant cousin works for Proton?  biggrin.gif

This is just my personal opinion but put yourself in Proton's shoes. The car is selling well and they have trouble fulfilling/meeting current orders and ironing out the bugs. Is another vendor set to release a model that's a threat? Is this a opportunistic time to release another variant? Or should they wait for the market quiet down again and introduce a new variant to spice things up. Sooner or later, it may come. Depend on how long can you tahan waiting?
*
They should iron out all the qc issue of the original car batch before even considering launching FL variant
