Hmm... should seriously consider the 3M VentureShield or similar products hmm.gif

Sometimes nicknamed "clear bra" or "chip guard" 3M VentureShield can be professionally installed on rocker panels, mirror backs, full hoods and more because our film comes in 60" widths.

laugh.gif Hahaha! Missed that! laugh.gif But overall, its a good thing to keep all those "lesen kopi" owners from leaving their signature all over your bumpers/sides/wing mirrors/etc.

Hi,
Any using Preve Executive CVT? How is it? I couldnt find any review on Preve Executive CVT. How is it compared to old vios? I own vios 06 FL type E. I'm planning to change to Preve Exec CVT...I can see it is really really spacious than my vios (i see it in the showroom)..

Not going to talk about Vios but gonna quote an unflattering section from an automotive magazine.

QUOTE
That engine likes to to remind the driver of it's Campro origins. It's not exactly silky smooth at idle, rumbustious under acceleration, and drones with with whinny overtone around town on a light-to-medium throttle. It fails to deliver that low-rev-turbo shove we're all gotten used to with European downsized engines, instead metering out just enough pace that it never actually feels slow. The Preve deserves a bit of zing, and the turbocharged CFE barely provides it while the standard IAFM+ certainly doesn't.

Even when paired to a manual gearbox, the naturally aspirated Preve feels so tardy and lifeless that you're always aware of the small 1.6-liter engine up front trying very very hard to move a big car.
What I'm saying is that don't expect certain things from the Preve - silky smooth engine or sports car like performance. Preve is not that sort of car. Don't get me wrong. Preve's athletic but if you are seriously considering this car, do it for the right reasons:

* Price - Lol .. who doesn't care about money? Preve is certainly astounding value for money.

* Size does matter. Though not a Godzilla, there's plenty of space all-round. This would make your in-laws happy.

* Comfort - It's big enough & NVH levels are comfortable. Plenty of other creature comforts included like
  • Decent/Acceptable sound system
  • Auto climate controls for air-cond
  • Built in GPS
  • Auto headlights
  • Auto rain sensor for the wipers.
* Safety - This part is important to me. I enjoy driving as much as I enjoy continuing to live. Maybe I have grown matured enough to appreciate the lives of my loved ones. Death by accident is a terrible way to end. This car has a strong enough structure. Also has added safety features sorely missing in other more expensive models.
  • RESS
  • 4 airbags
  • ESC
  • Traction control
  • ABS
  • Electronic brake distribution
So what's the price for this car - RM 59,540 - 72, 990 + the stigma of owning a local brand. (Have to put up with the ribbing from friends about not purchasing an imported car) tongue.gif

I agree. Do not expect sports car like performance & handling or refinement the likes of Accord or Camry.

Manage your expectations and you will love the Preve. I know I do.

Comparing accord or camry with preve is like comparing apple with orange. Not fair. Overall satisfied with the car but note of the minor qc issues and car size. If can accept not problem for you.

No the windows do not stop halfway, it will continue to hit the object eg yr hand, then I believe that there is a sensor that detect the motor movement. When it slow down, it auto hit reverse. My 2 sen only. I tried with my hand at the driver side window.

Mine does not carry my hand to the top. It should stop and lower the window a bit.

Had similar issue with mine. Get it fixed @ your nearest Service Center smile.gif
But I'm still annoyed with the door trim extruding a little when the window winds all the way up sad.gif
