Hi there,

i got some problem here,

i just shifting to a new house. i have been given 1 remote control for autogate. the owner said another remote control was lost..

i dont trust him,

my questions.... anyone here know how to change frequency of the remote control and autogate...? if do please help..

no need to say change the new motor or autogate la.... i knew that... biggrin.gif

Is it the normal type? normal type, you need to open the control box usually outside, change the receiver dip switch, and on your transmitter change the dip switch same as your receiver.

You see any dip switches? The conventional usually have 8 dips switch. You a

you don't change the frequency, you change the encoding bit. Autogate only use 1 or 2 frequency, it's the encoding bits that change.

Yes you are correct, change dip switch is changing encoding.

For my case I user one remote but two auto gate. One is sliding another is swing. My mom house and my home.

If you buy expensive autogate like unigate or autogate with anti duplicate it will not be possible.

Only the basic autogate type can. You need to make sure the two receiver using same frequency, and dip switch setting. Make sure the two gate is not closeby.

same frequency same dip switch...must be different houses..
if same house 2 auto gate..both door will open at the same time
