QUOTE(lowyard @ Jun 23 2012, 05:34 AM) I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5 for a year and just months ago made the jump to CS 5.5. Overall I loved the features of the editing software. Make sure you have a 64-bit operating system for smooth editing operations. Then just make sure you have met the system requirements. I've never used older version than CS 5. I am using premiere pro 5.5 too. what desktop requirement u using, cz i am currenlty using laptop i5 and it is freaking scary that it is constantly crash and have problem. what is your suggestion for desktop customization?

QUOTE(lowyard @ Oct 11 2013, 12:22 AM) Constantly crashing? How come? I'm using laptop as well. Asus with i5 2450m 2.5ghz turbo boost to 2.9ghz, 6GB RAM, Nvidia 630m, 500gb hdd. Windows 7 that time. Now running 8. But mine was running just fine n reliable. I know it's scary if it's vibrantly crashing, you could lose your work! Have you updated both Windows n Premiere Pro? Latest updates ensures stability for both OS n the program. I don't have a desktop. It seems that my laptop spec is even better than urs! = ='' I got no idea, my editing was short film and wedding actual day. it just so happen that when in the midst of urgency, then it got hang and crashed. using cs 5.5. Did you use any specific method to divide ur hdd or jz anythg that you did? is ur playback smooth?
